WOW ... 93, 816 views

I'm blown away with the active views I had on my 12 DAYS OF DOLL MAKING posts that I've recently shared across Facebook and Instagram.

Those 93,816 views could possibly equate to 1000's of people actually watching my 12 steps of Doll Making as they were posted ... however as far as I know there was only ONE PERSON who actually went along with it. One, just one 😂

Congratulations to Debbie Pincher who stuck with it and followed along without wavering as each step presented itself to her daily. She commented on the 12 posts letting me know how she was getting on each day and received my encouragement throughout the process.

Yes you can indeed, when you set your mind to it, make a Polly Dolly in just 12 days over 12 steps.

So here we are ... Day 12 of our 12 Day Doll Making.

Today's final step in our 12 days of doll making is Polly's mohair.

DAY TWELVE
This is where she comes to life as each individual hair length is added to her hair cap by using a hook and loop method.

It's the penultimate day today, and what a fast paced 10 days we've already had ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Did you know it only takes 12 steps over 12 days to make the most perfect dolly, and toddy is day 11 of those 12.

DAY ELEVEN
Today we'll crochet a simple chain to make Polly's hair cap. This will be fitted and sewn around her head in a spiral to make a secure cap ready for her hair lengths.

Your Polly Dolly is coming along beautifully and today her little character will evolve right in front of your eyes.

Adding her facial features is truly an endearing moment as the fabrics you have so lovingly made into a doll shape now become real, almost human, something you've poured your heart and soul into ... ready to love ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Today we'll stitch the eyes onto our Polly Dolly and embroider her mouth to create a gentle little smile 😊

And today we're on day 7. We've made fantastic progress on our dolly so far and now it's time to finish her body.

DAY SEVEN
Today we'll sew her legs onto her body along with adding the additional stuffing that’s needed in her bottom area.

It only takes 12 steps over 12 days to make the most perfect dolly ⭐️⭐️⭐️ and here we are on day 5 already.

I'm putting those 12 steps together for you, so that you can work with me as we sit and sew our dolly one stitch at a time.

DAY FIVE
Today we'll attach Polly head skin for a nice tight fit, avoiding any neck wrinkles. We'll also fit and attach her body fabric snuggly to her neck.
