😲🫡 It's good to be busy but its never ending!

11 sets of binoculars left me last week, 8 sets of 10x80s and 3 sets of 12x60s and I could not get a big photo of them all as it was raining 🤣 typical British weather.

Then jump right back into a Monday with 4 sets of 10x80s that need doing all going to different parts of the world.

Also polished up two sets of darts for another local Eastleigh ADC and league player 👏 they should be non stop in the trebble now and adverage 80+ 😁

We are booking into 2027 now for workshop space so if you need anything from servcies, full restoration, special projects, sales or standard polishing jobs drop us a DM.

Two sets of Japanese 15x80s are almost finalised and will be leaving us next week. Both sets are being paired with aluminium tripods. They are looking beautiful 😍

Another set of darts done for a local player in Eastleigh darts league. Point snapped and removal tool could not get it out, so we got the snapped point out and converted them to swiss point and harrows for Toby.

Dad's job today was to sort the optics out on this beautiful set of EUG/Zeiss WWII Kriegsmarine Binoculars.

I love it when history comes though the workshop to us and we dont need to do anything other then sort the optics out and make them work again. They now have a crystal clear picture 📸

What did I get to do on a Friday.... lathe work.... 12 sets of handles made for cradles.

Drill, tap, turn and repeat all day long.

It's never just a case of metal polishing woth us, its rebuilding. When your set of binoculars arrive with us, they are in the best of hands. Everything comes apart, everything is cleaned, checked and put back together.

The rear eye sections are fully stripped, each optic cleaned. Every running part, thread is cleaned from all the old grease and re assembled with new.

Yes it's our job to restore your binoculars, but we rebuilding them to work perfectly. So they can be functional for another 80 years.

They are parts of history and I am proud to take my time and get them done right. Even if that means delaying a deadline for a day or two, I will not cut corner and send something out im not happy with.

Not jet engine turbine to tables, not binoculars but another set of darts cleaned and converted to swiss point for another local player 😀.

🎯 I think I have cleaned up, polished and converted around 50 sets of darts now and only messed up on one set at the very start (sorry con) but definitely enjoy doing the darts in-between the jobs that pay the bills. 🎯

🏆 Just need to get better at throwing them to beat some of the players darts I've converted 🤔😂😂

💥🛩👀 Aviation Project 👀🛩💥

Dad has knocked it out of the park with this one!

The previous post a customer had brought in a Rolls Royce jet engine turbine and wanted up to do something special with it.

So Dad got creative. Everything has been designed and engineered by dad to build a stunning coffee table for someones office, house, garage or man cave.

The highlight of this project is that once the glass top has been installed the turbine underneath will be able to turn and spin.

The Rolls Royce hubcaps as a centre plate in my opinion completes it.

Well dont to the old man, he still has it 👌💪

👀 Incoming aviation project 👀

💥🛩 Dad loves nothing more then getting stuck into projects. He has done binoculars for near on 45 years so when someone comes to us with a idea 💡 🤔 he makes it a reality 🛩💥

We get to get creative with a Rolls Royce jet engine turbine, dad will be stripping and polishing the whole thing, each engine vein blade, the main hub. There is a Rolls Royce hubcap to go into the centre. Dad is engineering legs and glass holder so once this is finished, it will be a one of a kind coffee table where the turbine can spin under the glass.

We are excited to crack on and see how this comes out. We have done many tables over the years out of engines parts, torpedoes, and helicopter parts.

While im sat here doing metal tripods and wooden tripods for a large order of 10x80s and 12x60s so if you need a set of binoculars for your office, house or a Christmas present get in contact and we can price them up for you.
