What a lovely weekend at the Thread Festival of Textiles in Farnham Maltings✨

Just a week ago I wasn’t planning to exhibit, but when an opportunity came up to have a space at Threads with only 24 hours notice, every sensible part of me said “That’s not enough time.” Thankfully, I ignored that part of me.

& I’m so glad I did.

I met lots of wonderful new customers, caught up with familiar faces, spent time with some of my absolute fav small business friends (pics next time pls!) & had so many lovely conversations about stitching that i’ve come away with lots of ideas of what’s next for Sew Luxe Co.

A special thank you to the organisers at Farnham Maltings for creating such a welcoming event and to the amazing staff who were helpful, friendly and supportive throughout the weekend - it not only made a difference to this event but my confidence going into future events.

Running a small business can also sometimes feel a bit lonely, so weekends like this are a lovely reminder of the community we’re part of 💛

Thank you to everyone who stopped by my stand, made a purchase, had a chat or simply said hello. It means more than you know!

Well… this is all a bit last minute! 😅

Thanks to a last minute cancellation, I’ll be popping up at Thread Fest at this Friday 12th June and Saturday 13th June!

Am I prepared? Absolutely not. 😂

In fact, I haven’t done an in-person event since the CCS Retreat back in September, so I’m feeling equal parts excited, nervous and wondering what on earth I’ve forgotten to pack.

Will my display be perfect? No.
Will I have every single product with me? Also no.
Will I probably be a slightly sweaty, chaotic hot mess by lunchtime? Quite possibly.

But I’m showing up anyway 💪✨

I’ll have plenty of stitching goodies, stickers, project bags, needle minders, thread gloss, kits and a whole lot of enthusiasm. If you’re visiting the show, please come and say hello - I’d love to see some friendly faces!

And honestly? The reaction to the new Travel Sewing Case has completely blown me away. You lovely stitchers managed to sell them out this week (still screaming!!)
