For those of you who have seen our posts selling of the van stuff, just a little post to say that this isnt the end of The Wax Wagon, it's just a change of direction!

When we started this project, covid had gripped the nation, we were in lock down, shops were closed, people were staying home. We had people able to do all the work for us who are no longer able to help.

A lot has changed in 8 months, and as the country returns to normal, a massive van showroom no longer seems like the most viable option. But fear not, The Wax Wagon will still be a project in the pipeline, we will just look to downside the vehicle.

So here is to another 8 months of a different van sitting outside my house 😂😂

Something very exciting happened today.... we officially received our trademark certification!!

It's been 3 months of paper work, but now we own the term The Wax Wagon!

Just need to pull out finger out and finish the work on it now

I've never been so excited to see 2 boxes in my life!

We had a bit of a delay with the electrics, after waiting patiently for 6 weeks and nothing arriving, the company had somehow missed our payment! Luckily they pushed us through the production queue and arrived today.

Next plan is to order the insulation we need to stop the melts getting too hot or cold in the back then stage 2 of the big project can commence (after much nagging of Mr Scentnifique I'm sure!)

After a long wait we are finally in the production line for the electrics!

Once that's all installed, then its full steam ahead and we can get on with insulating and panelling which is the next job on the list.

We will keep you updated 😁

We are getting back on track with the Wax Wagon this week.

Our jumbo roof fan has arrived. We need to make sure that the wax doesnt melt in the heat although I don't think there are any worries about that this year. 😂

Next job is for the electrics to be done

The Wax Wagon will be going into the workshop this weekend for a little pamper session AKA the garage lol.

So from Monday onwards it means that we will be able to crack on with the next phase..... Electrics.

Not all all exciting really, but well be having some ceiling lights put in, and proper power in the back so that we can do essential things like charge devices at all day events, and to be able to have an electric burner on too if we like.

I just need to bug Mr Scentnifique to get ordering the bits we need x
