Today we visited the Princess Anne Hospital to see the cooling cot that was donated in Corey's name.
Standing beside it was a very strange and emotional experience, and Seeing it there made the reality of everything we've been doing sink in a little more.
It brought back so many feelings, but at the same time it filled our hearts with comfort. Knowing that this cot will help give other families something so precious, time with their babies, means more than words can express.
Nothing can take away the pain of losing a child, but those extra moments, memories and cuddles can mean absolutely everything.
While seeing it was difficult, it also made us incredibly proud. Corey's legacy will live on through something that will provide comfort, love and precious time to families facing the unimaginable.
A huge thank you to the incredible bereavement team at the Princess Anne Hospital. The care, compassion and support you provide to families during their darkest moments is truly invaluable, and it means so much to know that Corey’s cot will be part of the amazing work you do.
