Edigumi I passionately transform discarded materials and found objects designing useful home accessories, jewellery or whimsical, meaningful art pieces.

I also help others to experience how relaxing and uplifting up-cycling is on my workshops.

Just turned unwanted plastic containers into these Wabi-Sabi style vases 🌿
I love this aesthetic because it celebrates imperfection and reminds us that everything has worth — even the things we once thought were trash. Cracks, texture, and asymmetry? That’s where the beauty lives.
The finished pieces are even better… come back for the next post to see them fully revealed!
Would you rock one of these in your home? 💛

Create a Woven Newspaper Fish with Me
Join me for a fun, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to make a beautiful woven newspaper fish. It’s a wonderful way to recycle old newspapers and create unique art together in person. This workshop is part of the Home Gallery exhibition by Right Hemisphere Information

No experience is needed — just bring your creativity and get ready to craft something awesome! The workshop will be held outdoors, so it may be cancelled at short notice if the weather isn’t great.

I’ll provide all my expertise and the materials. If you’d like, you’re welcome to leave a donation to help cover the costs.
Looking forward to crafting with you!

I've finally gotten around to showcasing these beloved guys over the past few days, and now I give you a little close-up love. I've always adored their humor and color. Back home, we say on 14th of February the sap starts circulating in trees, the birds start to make love, and the fish too (they use a more... colorful expression). It's definitely time to join this happy bunch and brighten up our days 🌿🦆🐡. I'd be grateful if you'd share your favorite and what makes it special to you. Don't forget to pm me if you're interested in owning one.

Recovering from my episodes ,I was going through old photos and found these sweet driftwood fishes in tin that I'd painted and framed. 🖼
Each piece is one-of-a-kind with different patterns and colours, and I've added some personal touches to the background like sandy or wood-effect. ⛱🌊
I've sold a few of these already, but I think it's time to share more. ( And I don't know how are you with that but I tend to forget to share photos of my works when something new come along..🤷‍♀️😬)

They're perfect for spring decor or a Mother's Day gift. Message me if you're interested - £28 a piece is a bargain! 🤷‍♀️

I'm sharing here some photos from there as taster of the beautiful artworks from local talents you can see and buy t
during the month up to 7th of February. Every single purchase supports not only the artists but the charity too.

Yesterday at the Hungarian Christmas Market.
It's been a long-long time since we had a gathering like this: showing up local talents of the Hungarian community.
There were beautiful, traditional cakes, seasonal foods and some arty craft stalls too. After a very tight schedule it's been a pleasure to finish the season with a heartwarming event like this. I've got lovely compliments and questions about my process that always fuels the willingness to make and share. ( Wassail Lantern Workshop is coming in January) And I had lovely chats with old friends and made new acquaintances too.
Don't forget to reach me out for your last minute eco-friendly gift purchase and bespoke commissions -animalnor human portrait too.

Thank you for the hard work of the organisers and for the photo for the best healer in Southend Goszi George

Just wanted to share some of the sculptures I was asked to create based on photos.
As a completely self-taught artist who started this journey only a few years ago, I was absolutely terrified of my very first commission — every new piece still feels like an experiment to me! 🤷🏻‍♀️
In the beginning I honestly have no idea how I’m going to pull it off: Will I use newspaper clay, papier-mâché, or a mix of both? What base should I choose? What will I use for the filling? (I’ve stuffed sculptures with everything from fruit netting to cling film — basically anything I can upcycle!)
😍 Even though I’m never 100 % satisfied with my own work, I always give it my absolute best, and I feel incredibly lucky because I’ve only ever received positive feedback.
👩‍❤️‍👨 The couple now stands proudly on their own shelf as a memorable wedding gift, Felix the black cat was commissioned by his momma, and Sweetness (who decided to become a forever guest t one of my friends) was a birthday surprise for her chosen “step-dad”.
🎞️ For every commission I ask for as many photos as possible, we discuss the size and pose together, and then I figure out how to bring it to life. I also send progress photos along the way to make sure I’m heading in the right direction.
All sculptures are made from upcycled newspapers, hand-painted, built on a wire armature, and mounted on carefully selected driftwood or handmade bases.
🎁 If you’d love to gift someone (or yourself!) a fully eco-friendly, one-of-a-kind portrait sculpture ♻️🖼️, you know where to find me!
It would mean the world if you shared this post with friends who might love this kind of gift — just tag them in the comments below! 🗣️⌨️💬
