Hi everyone
Just a quick update on classes
We have a few spaces left for our dual seascape class . This was very popular last time we did it .
It’s on the 14th June
Ian did a quick demo of a seascape to whet your appetite. You will be following along step by step in the morning then Ian’s going to let you loose in the afternoon painting your very own masterpiece . After the last double seascape class the students were blown away with what they did and it’s now become a very popular add on into the world of Bob Ross with Ian being our resident Bob Ross CRI instructor .

If you’ve ever wanted to draw animals but you’ve never tried , our resident Bob Ross instructor Ian has been busy with all the classes every other Sunday . But we have exciting news coming to Lawrence Mathews in the very near future
“ An introduction to pastels “ a beginner friendly class using pastel paper or velour paper with hard and soft pastels . Ian’s love for animals and nature are combined . He has been drawing in various mediums since he was a small child and now over 50 years later he will be adding these classes to the already existing Bob Ross classes . Dates and days are yet to be released so if you are interested in another amazing day down at the art shop with Ian as your instructor please register your interest to the shop . The first class is going to be
“LEMMY “ a lovely Otter in its natural environment.

Come and Join us on one or our BOB ROSS Oil Painting workshops in 2026. Dates we have available spaces, 8 Feb cabin painting /22 Feb Glacier painting and 8th March glen Painting. We only have x3 spaces left for each workshop.
This is a great day out only £65 for the day all materials are provided. Completely fine to come even if you have never picked up a paint brush in your life.

Hi everyone
We have had such a great year with the Bob Ross workshops and we have just released the class for the 22nd February . We will be painting this wonderful painting Ian did last year in class which was from one of Bob’s season programs . This was very popular and we’ve decided to release it again . Cost for the full day is £65 which includes your take home canvas . If you’re struggling for a Christmas gift for a family member or friend we sell vouchers to book a class or you can buy a space for the class on the 22nd February. We would also like to take this opportunity to Thankyou for all the custom this year not only for the painting classes but for supporting the shop in these challenging times . Let’s hope 2026 will bring you all good luck and fortune and maybe see you at some point . Have a great Christmas and a happy new year .

Hi everyone
A couple of spaces are available for this Sundays Bob Ross class with our very own Ian McDonald CRI . As it’s Remembrance Sunday Ian will be painting a battlefield scene depicting “ The morning after “ with a soldier kneeling at his fallen comrades makeshift grave . This is a very moving painting and has been a class favourite to do on Remembrance Sunday . Ian will show you the steps doing a full acrylic underpainting before using the great palette of colours in oil glazes over the top . Cost for the day is £65 inc everything you need to paint along . Please phone shop if you would like a spot
