If you're planning on visiting the Southwold Makers Market there are lots of way to pay for any goodies you may wish to purchase however this will depend on each stallholder... Some stallholders will have their own card readers (depending on phone/wifi signals), however if it all goes a bit pear-shaped the only cash points now available are:
Co-op, 2 Market Place, Southwold IP18 6EE
Boydens Stores, 1 Mount Pleasant Road, Southwold IP18 6QG
and Cash withdrawals are also available from Southwold Post Office High Street, Southwold IP18 6AA

However we would also like to encourage shoppers to still bring some cash with them for those stallholders who can only accept cash... after all cash is still very much legal tender (we're not a cashless society quite yet).

Meet the maker!! SATURDAY 7 DECEMBER come and meet Amelia AKA Millie's Natural Soaps - all made with top quality ingredients which include shea butter and coconut oil. Millie avoids using chemicals such as fragrance oils, perfumes or dyes. Instead her soaps are enriched with natural essential oils and any colourings are also natural such as French pink clay, spinach (green), cocoa (brown), paprika (orange), and turmeric (yellow). Millie also uses compostable packaging which is beneficial to the environment.

Meet the maker!! SATURDAY 7 DECEMBER come and meet Tracie AKA Kimliboo Candles. Tracie creates hand poured soy wax candles and wax melts. Eco-friendly, vegan-friendly and plastic free, each hand-poured candle is made in small batches with high quality 100% soy wax and a wood wick that creates a soft crackling sound as it burns. Look out for delicately coloured candle pots, 'bubble' ombre candles, and wax melts all scented with delicious fragrance oils.

Meet the maker!! SATURDAY 7 DECEMBER come and meet Belinda of Belinda Ashton Jewellery... creator of individual, colourful, handmade polymer clay jewellery. Her products include earrings, bracelets, brooches, necklaces and pendants. Belinda uses a variety of methods and mediums in her creations including embossing, terrazzo, cane work, screen printing, marbling, foils, micas and resin. Look out for retro styles, statement pieces, iridescent jewel-like colours. Every piece is unique, you'll find something for every taste and style.

Meet the maker!! SATURDAY 7 DECEMBER come and meet Hanandnan, a Nan and Grandaughter duo making upcycled clothing and hand painted items. Look out for funky handpainted upcycled ceramics ie. plates, cruets, bowls and more... all handpainted in striking black and white doodled designs. You'll also find some fantastic upcycled clothing... all in all a great way to reuse, reduce and recycle.

Meet the potter!! SATURDAY 7 DECEMBER come and meet Margaret Parsons 'Made in Pakefield', a local artist and potter based by the sea. Margaret creates beautiful decorative pottery, using various techniques including hand build, press mound & slip casting, in a variety of clays such as porcelain, stoneware and bone china. Products include framed pottery pictures; 3D pottery pieces influenced by her surroundings of seaside, nature, people and her imagination. Look out for her recent sculptured creatures including owls, foxes and hares.

Meet the maker!! SATURDAY 7 DECEMBER come and meet Susan from sewn.by.susan... maker of wonderfully colourful applique cards. Her use of free-motion sewing gives her cards a doodled hand-drawn look. Designs include tulips, tea & cake, beach huts, flowers, ice-creams and caravans etc all made with a fun eclectic range of fabrics so no two are ever exactly the same.

Paula's busy fingers create of all types of hand knitted items ranging from baby/children's wear and blankets as well as fun, colourful characters ideal for small hands to hold, they're sure to make you smile! as well as dog coats, adult bobble hats, tote bags (all beautifully lined) and so much more! Meet the artist!! SATURDAY 7 DECEMBER come and meet local artist VDub Artwork. Look out for for original paintings and prints of iconic VW campervans and cars as well as seascapes and landscapes of the local area. He also has a range of mugs with his VW prints... these would look totally fab in your own camper or your kitchen at home!! Look out for his mini-notebooks all with individually handpainted covers - no two are the same. Did you know Christopher has a long history in the jewellery trade?
