Well, we have just closed the doors at the end of what can only be described as a very challenging year due to health issues.
So glad to see the back of 2025.
We would like to thank our customers old and new for putting your trust in us to supply you with a great range of beds and mattresses that are great quality but also value for money.
We hope that 2026 will be much better for us all and look forward to welcoming you back into the showroom on Saturday 3rd January 2026.

Well, what a couple of Months it’s been!
After a serious health diagnosis at the end of May and subsequent surgery at the beginning of July it has only just registered that today is the 6th year anniversary of Beds By Design!!
Due to regular, ongoing hospital appointments for the next few weeks, we are currently open on Mondays from 9:30am until 3:30pm the same on Wednesday’s and on Saturdays from 10am until 4pm.
Appointments out of these hours could still potentially be accommodated, please call 01422 831139.

In the meantime, we would like to thank our loyal customers and our potential new customers for your valued custom and support over the last few years 🙏🏻

BEDS BY DESIGN ARE ENSURING THAT YOU ARE AWARE OF THE MATTRESS SCAM!
Mattress scammers drive the length and breadth of the UK selling substandard mattresses from the back of a van.
They appear to be genuine and the deal they have for you often sounds too good to be true! They offer the mattresses at knock down prices, telling the potential buyer that the goods are from a cancelled order which they can’t take back, surplus stock or from a business which is closing.
These mattresses and usually not what they seem! They are normally substandard, don’t meet the necessary fire retardancy requirements or are manufactured for next to nothing and will not generally offer the necessary support for a good night’s sleep.
Don’t be caught out – make sure you buy your mattress from a reputable company and always try to check their customer reviews if you can! This will give you a great starting point when shopping for a new bed.
