Something a little different for
Me today. I went to cooking class. On my list of requirements a
Pair of socks and a food container.

Socks where for keeping my feet warm whilst I cooked in the
home of my host. Had an absolutely scrumptious day learning about the Reunion Islands and making a selection of traditional dishes. Then of course sat and ate what we’d prepared.

Leftovers came home. Amazing flavours and learnt some great techniques! Highly recommend a visit to Gourmandises. Thank you Corinne 👩🏻‍🍳

The fabulous came to the studio a couple of weeks ago for a fabulous day of slow stitching.

I’ve finally got my stitched real leaves mounted and on the wall. I’m really rather pleased with the results!

Back at the start of the summer I shared with you some scrumptious fabric I purchased from With munchkin No7 imminent and the change in the weather for cozy studio days, work has commenced. I have to say the fabric is not only its bea to look at its beautiful it work with too. So won’t be long before it’s finished. The confidence to start my own quilt with no pattern comes from workshops Ive attended at the studio. Simple patchwork blocks lets the fabric shine!

Fabulous Saturday spent in the studio with working with a variety of mediums to create little tins of words.

Fabulous oil on oil, the Bob Ross way with .good today at the studio. We were rocking and rolling, and caking!

No complaints about the gorgeous Lemon Cake, but lots of “argh”over rocks! This one was challenging! Thank you ladies, here’s to the next visit in November for some Stonehenge Painting. So if you fancy joining in, absolutely no experience needed just m book, turn up in your scruffs, oil can be messy and spend a day painting your own masterpiece. Book through website. Well as we move I to my absolute favourite season, the beautiful summer we’ve had is hanging around. How lovely to be enjoying the daily sunshine, with an evening of Spiced Pumpkin Latte to settle down with.
