It’s coming around fast. Our Barefoot Summer Solstice Event is happening next month! Saturday 20th June. Tickets are available for this day of wellness, nourishment of your soul, folklore and friendship. Pop over to the website and get your place at the table booked. Well the wait is absolutely over. As part of our regular patchwork and quilting monthly workshops, some clever sew and sew, 😜 had the bright idea to make a quilted jacket. Me, I’m the clever sew and sew! With fabric bundles from lots of cutting and stitching and the odd bit of bad language, the results are in. The fabric was a delight to work with and I absolutely adore the muted but vibrant colours! ✂️🪡

We had a beautiful blue day in the studio when Iryna Joined us at the studio for a day of blue sky, not thinking, but water colour painting. This master class was challenging with varied results, but I can safely say, those who participated left with a little more confidence in painting skies. The results are in! A day full of sunshine and colour today in the studio when Jenny O'Leary Textile Art came to play. Our BATIK adventures into FONTS & TEXT resulted in some gorgeously creative techniques. Jenny’s annual visit to the studio is always greatly anticipated and the results are always so rewarding. It’s a real trust the process day. Thanks to everyone who came and took another step along their creative journeys.

The wonderful Jenny O'Leary Textile Art will be in the studio on Friday. There are a couple of spaces available for this Batik workshop. Not just any Batik, Jenny is a leader in this technique in the UK, and we will be exploring Letters, Font and Text. Using a variety of mediums this truly is a creative experimental day and perfect for those who wish to push their creativity.

What a gently , creative day in the studio today when Emily Notman came to play. Such a generous tutor. With a choice of beautiful fabrics, threads, wool and sequins we spent the day in our own circle of stitch.The chatter and laughter to accompany us is always a great soundtrack to creative studio days. The colours for our work completely embraced the rainbow. Well done and hopefully will see you back in the studio soon. Emily will be back in September for more creativity.
