Someone has left a bag of frozen food in the shop at lunchtime today. We are here until 3 for it to be collected.

The shop is closed this afternoon because of illness. We are still taking messages but didn’t want to pass this on to anyone.

Never mind Fenwicks window, come along and see ours. Perhaps also ask about our upcoming chocolate orange cover competition too. The plan is to have the window transform from Autumn into winter, that’s if we can knit quick enough.

Just to clear up any confusion over what a chocolate orange cover is and how the competition will work. This is an example of a simple cover. There are many available online in various levels of skill. We don’t have patterns for them in the shop but could help search if you can’t get online.

No you don’t need to supply the chocolate orange as we have 10 inch (25cm circumference) polystyrene shapes to put in, we only need the cover to fit this size. Firstly the chocolate may melt and secondly, we may be tempted to eat it.

The £2 entry fee goes in the pot for the air ambulance charity, the shop does not take anything from it.

You can collect your covers after the competition to gift or sell but if you would like us to sell them for you, we may do that providing they meet safety requirements for fire, choking etc. All money from sales will go into the air ambulance fund.

Any further questions please ask.

This week we have planned something for children in the town. Collect a colouring sheet from today until 22nd August. It’s not a competition, just a bit of fun. We will put all individual sheets together to make a bigger picture. There’s a little gift when the picture is returned complete.
