Castaway Scotland Handmade natural soaps and exquisite knitting kits born in Scotland. Our Soaps: All our soaps are handmade in small batches in North Berwick, Scotland.

The ingredients are natural, cruelty free, vegan and wherever possible locally sourced. Our knitting kits: delightful boxes filled with the best yarns, simple & stylish patterns, wooden knitting needles, a darning needle and everything else you could need to knit up our gorgeous designs. All our patterns are clear and easy to follow - ideal small projects to take on holiday or give as a gift. The wools have all been carefully chosen for their quality and shades.

We took a road-trip to Aberdeen and finally managed to stop at The Horn. I’ve been past it so often, but this was the first time we ate in and it was great 😻

A warm welcome, beautiful old-school decor and a delicious bacon roll served on a tiny plate.

I don’t like baked beans, so I this isn’t my order, but I am really curious about what the tower/ bale/ pie in the last picture is 🤔

Portobello in the sunshine today:

1) A quick stop to drop off an order of soaps in the epic . Ross & Erin have great coffee, the best pastries and a fantastic collection of homewares and preloved clothes

2 & 3) followed by a leisurely look through ‘s shelves. Such a beautiful bookshop and I still get such a thrill seeing for sale there! (I did the illustrations in this book, beautiful photography by )

4) finished off with the best Miami-Cuban food .

A very brief visit, but a great part of Edinburgh ❤️

I am so excited to have done some illustrations for a gorgeous cookbook by Land Sea & Hills and the matching totes are on sale now!

Is that a bee snoot? So many busy bees and insects hanging around the beautiful Cambo Gardens.

If you are anywhere near St Andrews/ Fife and love gardens, is amazing, so much beautiful planting and inspirational compost! They also have a lovely wee coffee shop with lunches, cakes and great coffee. Because beautiful sunny gardens + scones = total bliss

And I am totally delighted that they stock my soaps too 🥰
