These hanging shelves are a feature in my own home and they always get lots of attention!
A lot of the shelves that are similar don’t sit against the wall properly and are at a slant, mine however sit flush against the wall because I make sure the front rope is slightly longer that the back. I use a mini level to make sure they are straight and I won’t send them to you until I am happy that they are perfect!

They have a variety of colour wood to choose from, the rope can be either natural rope colour or white, you can choose if you want them all the same height or in steps therefore giving you a unique feature in your home.

I set up my cabinet at to sell my string art!!

‘If not now, when? Take the leap’

I have always enjoyed making string art, I love seeing it go from a boring piece of wood to a piece of art that I can feel proud of. Now, I have taken my little hobby to an independent craft market where I can sell it and share it with strangers and I couldn’t be more proud!

It’s not huge, it’s not going to make me millions, it’s not perfect, but it’s mine. And I couldn’t be happier!!

I have said it before but thank you to everyone that has encouraged me to get to this point.

This cute little elephant makes a gorgeous addition to any children’s room.

All of my string art comes with a sawtooth hanger so they’re easy to hang up on the wall but they can also stand up on their own on a shelf or dresser.

They can come in a variety of different colours and on either painted wood or oak stain as shown in the picture.

In light of my impending move to I am going to give this sweet little Santa to one lucky winner!

All you have to do is go down to The Courtyard (the back of the antiques shop in St Ives, Cambridgeshire), take a picture of my cabinet with the Santa on top (it’s not set up yet, it’s coming soon), post it on Instagram and tag and and you will go into a draw to win him!!

I will be announcing the winner on Sunday 25th October so you have 2 weeks to get down there and have a look around!

There are some incredible craft businesses at The Courtyard so keep an eye out for some early Christmas presents!

I am so excited to tell you that I have secured a cabinet to sell my little string art bits from!!!!

If you haven’t been down to yet then you are missing out big time!! It’s full of small businesses selling their crafts and they have the most amazing bits down there!!

I will be moving in there next week and I’m going have some new Christmas pieces there too so please come along, check it out and show support for all our local small businesses.
