Bit if prep on this one screened once then epoxy dpm applied before final skim 150mmx18mm engineered oak fullybonded installed.
I'm just waiting on other trades so I can finish off skirtingboards

Ongoing project to a house I worked at couple years ago, fitted unfinished prime oak to landing and top floor to give us the option to match stair treads but decided to go for a contrast and keep it natural using bona traffic hd

Typical new build latex needed to come up luckily took 5 mins is was that bad. grinded floor primed and smoothed over ready to install prefinished oak herringbone flooring finished with new skiringboard.

This was full on in the heat, complete rip out dispose of old carpet and vinyl tiles.
Subfloor needed lifting in places before going over again throughout. Installed karndeans korlok brushed golden oak with new skirtingboards. Cheeky break In-between meeting up with down at festival 🌞🍻🎶🎶

Saturday job, customers are away as I'll be using osmo oil that can take a while to cure, but straight forward sand and finish I'll head back in a day or two, nib and apply 2nd coat.

Finally had a day spare to finish mine off 🤣 fitted over Xmas about time I got it filled sanded and finished with rubio monocoat in castle brown

This customer had a go at sanding the floor but these hire machines aren't the best. A few pics sanded, filled and finished with 3 coats of junkers strong.

From grinding the concrete surface and other prep work it was time to install this unfinished herringbone floor with a 2 block boarder. Ive covered up ready for the kitchen fitters, then will finish with possibly a raw lacquer or oil, yet to be decided.

Some more floor prep grinding off the laitance. Engineered Unfinished block has been fitted with boarder in dining room.
The Kitchen/diner to be started in a couple of weeks customer yet to decide on finish, what would you go for ?
