When the design starts with a mockup… ➡️ 🎈✨
One of my favourite parts of creating bespoke balloon displays is the designing stage — and that’s why I offer most of my bespoke customers a mockup of their design before I start creating. 🤎
This first birthday setup was a perfect example! 🐛🌿
The brief was a gorgeous nature-inspired theme for little Lainey’s 1st birthday, with earthy greens, pops of colour, a giant number 1 and lots of little details to bring the theme to life.
The mockup allows us to see the idea before the balloons are inflated. It gives my customer the chance to picture how everything will come together, but it also gives us the opportunity to tweak things — colours, sizes, positioning, details or even the overall shape of the display.
And sometimes… the original idea evolves into something even better! ✨
For this design, the mockup also allowed me to show the idea of adding a detachable arch, giving the customer two beautiful ways to use the display on the day.
Of course, a mockup is only a visual guide — balloons are balloons, and the finished design can vary slightly depending on the colours, sizes and availability of the balloons on the day. But it gives us both a really good starting point and, most importantly, makes sure we’re on the same page before I start creating. 🤍
Because bespoke means more than just choosing your colours.
It means creating something especially for you. 🎈
🌿 Happy 1st birthday, Lainey! 🌿
Thank you for choosing me to be part of Lainey’s special day 🫶🏼
