It's been a long time since we posted anything on here but thought you might like this job we completed last year in Tanfield Lea, Stanley for Mr & Mrs Henderson. We removed the old conservatory back down to the dwarf walls and fitted new brick columns, new energy efficient windows and doors and a new Thermolite Warm roof with an oak feature beam. We removed the patio doors to an open plan, all plastered, new insulated floor and skirting boards. It looks completely different and blends in perfectly with the property. This works out a lot cheaper than knocking your old conservatory down and building a new sun room.

Really enjoyed this little job we did at Delves Lane. Knocked down old porch and built it back up with all new fully insulated walls and roof. All new composite door & UPVC windows. Inside was all plastered out with new radiator, hardwood flooring, worktop and skirting boards.
Watertight & secure the same day. 💪👍 Dave Proud

Well its about time we started posting everything on our page like everyone else so here we go.
Conservatory Warm Roof fitted early in the year at Shotley Bridge, Consett. This particular one has a pelmet bulkhead with dimmable LED downlights and 2 Velux skylights. The customer absolutely loves it. 👍David Proud

Below is a selection of photos of a Thermolite Warm Roof we completed a couple of months back in Northallerton. As part of the contract we needed to retain most of the original internal wooden roof features and also achieve the Thermal U-Value down to 0.17 W/m2K which is required to receive a LABC certificate of approval. To achieve all this we needed to put together a complex build up of roof sections starting by removing all the glass from the roof and front panel, raising the roof 100mm and fitting all the required layers of insulation and air gaps. On the outside we finished the roof off with light weight Tapco slates and the inside was plastered and decorated. Both myself and the customers are really happy with the finished result.

Its been a while since we last posted any pictures, but we have been busy doing some new and exciting projects. This is just one of the projects that we have just completed in Burnopfield, an old conservatory that has been transformed into a beautiful orangery, a complete facelift.

Thermal Orangery built in Houghton-le-Spring. There isn't a lot of choice in style when building on to an existing extension lean too, so this Thermal Orangery was the best idea I could come up with. The customers trusted me to design and build this from start to finish and looking back at the photos we are all very happy with the finished result.
