After 15 years of freelancing in the high end event London floristry scene, I (Chloe) have found myself back in my home of rural Essex. The 2021 pandemic gave me the kick to put down roots, and begin my very own small business Journey. Ive taken everything ive learnt from by big city pals, colleagues and employers, but now have the freedom to truly explore my personal style of design. Creating Bespoke seasonal 'Florist Choice' Bouquets, allows me the freedom to use the very best of seasonal blooms, along with my creative eye for colour and design, to offer you the very best bouquet of the day. For seaonal holidays you'll also find a small signature range to choose from.

How did I miss this gallery when it first dropped last year?! What a travesty!

Thank goodness for Joshua Anstey | Suffolk Wedding Photographer for making sure these made their way onto my radar.

Last August at Alpheton Hall Barns | Suffolk Wedding Venue , we dressed these beautiful historic barns with lashings of trailing foliage, creating that rustic, bring-the-outside-in feel.

Still very much worth sharing, even if a little late to the party!

Floral dressing for this rather spectacular staircase at Hengrave Hall.

Filled with layers of mixed foliages, twisting stems and pops of seasonal blooms.

We used lots of texture to create something that felt a little wild and undone, gives the flowers that slightly wild, growing in situ feel.

For Heidi, the perfect mix of Bridal whites with Autumnal texture.

I’m trying to get back into the swing of regular posting, and I have SO much from this summer that I haven’t shared yet!

So here is yesturdays lovely bridal collection that headed off to Bardfield Vineyard Great Lodge

Our lovely couple decided to DIY their venue flowers, sourcing flowers from one of our amazing local flower farms Ivy Primrose Flowers (Vicki)

Meanwhile, they eliminated the added stress of making the bridal flowers, by leaving those in my hands 👐

Honestly, making bridal flowers is stressful enough even for us professionals. We’re acutely aware that these are the flowers that will be held, photographed, and looked back on for years to come, so every stem, colour and placement needs to feel just right.

For Heidi, we kept things beautifully bridal with whites and creams, but added plenty of seasonal texture and movement to stop them feeling too polished or ‘perfect’.

And while I’m all for a bit of DIY, sometimes it’s lovely to hand over the flowers that matter most and know they’re in safe hands.

🎄 NEW THIS CHRISTMAS 🎄

This year, I’m bringing my Christmas Wreath Workshops home , quite literally , and opening the doors to my little florist studio for a handful of private, intimate wreath-making sessions.

With a maximum of just 4 people per workshop, this is a much more personal alternative to a large group workshop.
You’ll have my undivided attention as I guide you through the whole process, step by step, from choosing your ingredients and building your base to adding all those lovely finishing touches.

And, of course, there’ll be plenty of beautiful seasonal foliage, natural decorations, ribbons and all the good Christmasy bits you’d expect from a Lady Greenleaves wreath.

The idea is to slow things down a little.
No big groups. No noise. No rushing.
Just two hours of mindful making, a bit of festive music, a glass of fizz and some time to switch off and get stuck into something creative.

So grab a couple of your favourite people, and come and make your own luxury Christmas door wreath from scratch, ready to take home and hang on your door.

Mindful Making

The first of multiple designs always take the longest, especially when using a new vessel, or a ratio of ingredients you've not tested before.

There's a certain amount of educated guessing, through years of experiance, that goes into writing up a recipe for a design, its part instinct, understanding how stems are likely to behave, and trusting the process.

Then there's always a fair bit of fiddling and fussing, taking a considered approach, taking a step back to reassess, to get the placement of each stem just right, so that everything works in harmony.

Once the first ones perfected, you can crack on with the 13 others.
