Why not come and visit this remarkable part of our showroom? Filled with extraordinary pieces from Cairo, it’s a wonderfully atmospheric collection that transports you to another time.

Among the highlights are our Important Egyptian Revival Cat Stool, Cairo, circa 1884, attributed to Giuseppe Parvis, and the Rare Pair of Neo-Egyptian Peacock Armchairs, Cairo, circa 1880–1885, also attributed to Giuseppe Parvis.

After a brilliant week at The Decorative Fair, there’s no time to rest as we turn our attention to preparations for the LAPADA Fair!

Held annually in Berkeley Square, Mayfair, LAPADA brings together leading dealers presenting fine art, antiques, jewellery, design and decorative arts.

Spanning centuries of artistic and cultural history, the fair offers a wonderful opportunity to discover exceptional objects in one of London’s most prestigious settings, attracting collectors, designers and cultural enthusiasts from around the world.

Let Afonso show you his favourite section of our stand, the Black Forest area!

There’s plenty to discover, from an owl to***co jar and an impressive collection of bears, including a rather wonderful decanter bear, to a Swiss Black Forest carved wood bear chair.

We’ve brought together early Black Forest carvings alongside some more recent pieces, creating a wonderfully varied collection with plenty of character.

Featured on our Arenski Wall of Cross Cultural Curiosities are these beautiful lion columns.

They have a particularly special story. Jay’s dad transformed them into the columns you see today, so we love having them on our stand, not only because they’re such striking pieces, but because they’re a lovely reminder of him.

We’re heading back to the warehouse to choose some new pieces to replace the ones we sold!

Among them was a beautiful painting of a dog, a dog sold at Battersea… how fitting! It was a shame to see her go, but we’re excited to refresh the stand with some new finds.
