At Jay Arenski Antiques, we're constantly sourcing exceptional pieces that inspire us. Driven by a genuine passion for collecting and an eye for the unusual, we're always searching for the next remarkable find.

Our ever-evolving collection includes Black Forest animals, sculptures, antique furniture, fine art, and decorative objects with character and provenance. Jay is particularly known for his love of high-quality dog sculptures and canine-related pieces, which have become a distinctive part of the collection.

It’s been a wonderfully busy start to The BADA Art & Antiques Fair, Rutland, and we’re loving exploring the other stands.

Fierce, protective, and beautifully carved, these mythical beings once guarded temples and shrines, one with its mouth open to ward off evil spirits, the other closed to protect and preserve good fortune. According to legend, baku devour nightmares… though perhaps not without consequence.

Rich with symbolism and presence, these remarkable survivors feel as powerful today as they did over 500 years ago.
