Last week we installed this in Southam 🔥🔥

We removed a wide stone fireplace with offset open fire.
Once removed we knocked out back to the existing opening & installed a new concrete lintel to create the space for the stove. We had to fill out the wall and finish due to the stone fireplace being set in the plaster against the brickwork.

We then dropped a new 316 grade flue liner down the chimney, installing a pot hanging cowl and closure plate.
Laid a kadapha black limestone slabbed hearth to fill the existing footprint as the old one so the customer didn’t have to change the carpet.
Installed A1 rated fireboard in the chamber and topped off with a Focuscast beam.

Stove installed is the Chesneys Salisbury 5 with brass door furniture.

We installed these two Stovax Huntingdon’s in Slapton last week 👌🏽🔥

First one was to remove an old Hunter double door stove & replace with the Stovax Huntingdon 30 clear door. Nice and easy little swap over 👌🏽

The second was in the small living room.
Here we had to remove an old cast iron fireplace and open fire, knocking out to get back to the original opening.
Installed new flue liner and components along with closure plate.
We then set about installing the hearth using the customers own Kandala grey sandstone slabs. We set these in to finish flush with the existing brick border.
We had planned to keep the original brick if it was ok, but unfortunately it was a little rough. Firstly we were going to use an A1 rated fireboard but then the customer said about using more of the slabs to complete the opening.
So after a little work we completed it, then made a 50mm x 50mm steel 3 section frame to finished the opening nicely.

Today’s install in Abington Vale 🔥

This install was in fact one of our multi fuel package deals!
But with added extras of rustic brick chamber & Focus beam (to be fitted next week)

We removed a stone effect resin surround, back panel and hearth. Created the chamber & installed a new concrete lintel.
Installed 8mtrs of 904 grade multi fuel liner, components & new closure plate.
Laid a kadapha black limestone slabbed hearth, Capital fireplaces rustic brick chamber set.

Stove installed is the Mi Fires Chatsworth medium 5kw multifuel stove.

Today’s install in a nice little hamlet near Hillesden, Buckingham.

This install was for a returning customer, they’ve now found their forever home 🏡 purchasing a converted stable and forge.

The old forge part of the building had a lovely tall opening, which like most of the property has had works done.
We removed the board in the top of the opening and removed a dormant birds nest build up in the chimney, installed 6mtrs of new flue liner and adaptors with new closure plate.

We then set about creating the herringbone brick hearth, using reclaimed Warrington handmade bricks - sourced from Conservation Building Supplies, thanks Jason 👌🏽
Brick hearth definitely complimenting the rest of the brick fireplace and really finishing it all off.

Stove installed is the Chesneys Stoves and Outdoor Living Sanctuary log store version. The customer chose this stove because we installed the standard height Sanctuary at their previous property & they were very pleased with the quality they chose another 👌🏽👌🏽

One of the Installs we completed this last week.

Customer had called us because of water dripping onto the stove when it rained 🌧️
We went to take a look and found the install to be fitted with a bespoke made clay liner adaptor. The adaptor had been crudely fitted using a lot of fire cement. We recommend it be replaced and flue liner installed.

We removed the stove and flue pipe to reveal the clay adaptor, which after scraping away the fire cement, fell down with 1/2 of the first section of clay liner that was broken into around 6-7 pieces.

We installed the new 6” flue liner with pot hanging cowl, MA adaptor & closure plate cut to fit to concrete lintels.
Cleaned up the stove & resprayed, cleaned the tar splash from the polished granite hearth, plus repainted the opening for them quickly before the stove was re installed.
