After many many hours of hard work, headache, sweat and tears i have finished my end grain coffee table.
Now i know why you never see an end grain table 😅
So happy with the colors.

Very stressed today !! So much could have gone wrong but nothing did i am so chuffed 😁 almost at the end of this silly project.
Next it the top coat.

Sometimes simple is what you need. Use this tree slice as place mat or center piece. Hot pan, pizza or cheese will go on that natural tray. Hand polished and Finished with 100% pure mineral oil food safe.

Working on my next project, a coffee table. Not quite decided what kind of resin color and finish it will be.

Either a deep metallic red with silver and a resin finish on the wood

or more of a translucent color giving a tinted glass effect in the dark blue region with a natural oil wood finish 🤔
