On Monday 22nd June, myself and Cleo are undertaking a First Aid course.
It will be happening here in the shop - so I thought I’d mention it out loud incase anyone needs a refresher or wants to gain this knowledge and certificate for their business (or themselves) too.

Here is an explanation from the company providing a course -

‘Emergency first aid at work - The essentials covered, all in one day

This 1-day Emergency First Aid at Work Course provides essential first aid knowledge that can make a real difference. The course includes defibrillator (AED) training as required by the HSE. This course is suitable for low risk workplaces, like small offices. It enables the individual to gain the skills and knowledge they’ll need to be a competent first-aider. It also enables organisations to meet their legal duty to provide first aid in the event of an emergency in the workplace.

You will receive a certified certificate which will need to be refreshed every 3 years’

The course is £80pp payable direct to the company.

Online booking/payments are BACK!
If you’ve been here a while, you might recall PayPal thinking I’m a money laundering mafia boss, but I’m not… so I ditched them as it was such a headache!

I’ve now been able to set up an online store connected to the payments system I use in the shop (Sumup) - so the website remains the same, you can now just book there - which in turn (I hope), makes my life a bit easier.

We have SO many workshops now, SO many bookings.. it’s such a manual job to book it all with pen and paper and then my brain sometimes doesn’t want to cooperate 😂🤪 so this was a Sunday well spent I think!

Note the ‘delivery’ defaults to pick up only - which is free of course, but also then confirms the shops full address, so if it’s the first time you have booked, it’s handy to have!
All current workshops that are on the website have been updated!

We are at Chequers Pub, Bragbury End on the 18th for glass painting - can’t wait!

Amanda from Hekate & Ivy is here on the 24th for a Smidge stick making workshop - this is brand new and we can’t wait!
