A stunning pair of armchairs for a recent project I’ve been working on. More on this room to follow as we pull it together with lamps and cushions…. Work in progress! We chose a beautiful woven fabric from Colefax and Fowler - originally inspired by a floral needlepoint. A subtle design which sits perfectly on these chairs by Boura & White - always my first port of call for its quality and broad collection which caters for a breadth of interiors. But we are also never shy to bring to life old pieces of furniture that need a bit of love! We work with a few talented upholsterers and we hold a huge selection of fabrics suitable for such a job.

It’s been a real joy to see how this sitting room in Nairobi has come together. I had a speedy, two hour meeting at the shop one morning with the owner of this house a few months ago whilst she was in the UK for work. And I’m now delighted to see this fabulous ottoman, rug and pair armchairs sitting in place. We also helped with lampshades and cushions. Amazing what can be achieved without setting foot in a property! Fortunately the client had a fabulous sense and feel for what she liked and I so enjoyed putting some fabrics and ideas in front of her. Do get in touch if you would like some interior advice…. The way I work is quite informal but hopefully productive and intuitive. And most importantly positive and joyful xx
