What Affects the Price of a New Kitchen?

The choice of cabinetry, worktops and appliances, along with the size and complexity of the design, all influence the final cost of a new kitchen.

At Haydown Kitchens, we start by understanding how you want your kitchen to look and work, and the budget you would like to stay within.

We’ll then help you make informed choices about where to invest and where there may be more cost-effective alternatives, so you can achieve a kitchen you love at a price that works for you.

A great kitchen does not need to come with an inflated price tag!

Behind the design.....

Before you see the finished kitchen, there 's a lot of designing, planning and specifying that takes place.

A stunning kitchen with a timeless feel and plenty of carefully chosen details - including a curved cabinet that adds a softer finish to the run of cabinetry.

The British-made kitchen furniture has been bespoke painted in our client’s chosen colour.

At the sink, a Quooker boiling water tap is paired with a classic fireclay sink. The stunning quartz worktops provide a hardwearing and practical surface, while a suite of high-spec Bosch appliances completes the kitchen.

Chris at Haydown Kitchens was hard at work this afternoon in the showroom, making a cheesecake for his 93 year old mum. It was really yummy!

Our lovely interiors photographer, Jane, brought the sunshine with her today when she came down to capture two more of our recently completed kitchens. ☀️

The first is a beautifully designed Shaker-style kitchen and dining area in an older property with plenty of character. With its timeless look, bespoke painted cabinetry and plenty of thoughtfully planned storage, it’s a wonderful space designed around family life and the way the home is used.

The second couldn’t be more different! A modern German kitchen designed to make the most of a smaller space, with clever storage, clean lines and everything neatly tucked away. Proof that a compact kitchen can still be both practical and beautiful.

Two very different homes, two very different kitchens. We can’t wait to share the photographs with you!

Size doesn't matter!

We create beautiful, bespoke kitchens for rooms of all shapes and sizes — from large, open-plan spaces to more compact kitchens where every inch counts.

This recent project is a great example of what can be achieved in a smaller space. Using our high-quality German kitchen furniture, we’ve maximised every inch to create a kitchen that’s stylish, practical and highly functional — with no compromise on quality.

See before and after photos.

Whatever the size or shape of your kitchen, we can help you create a space that’s practical, stylish and made to work for you.
