Stockport Town Hall Christmas Fayre
Thursday 5th December from 12 noon to 7pm
FREE ENTRY

Join me this Thursday at Stockport Town Hall at their festive fayre. I'll be selling my honey and ceramic pots and cups alongside a wide range of stalls, perfect for purchasing your Christmas gifts. There'll be food, live music and a raffle on the evening in aid of the Wellspring Stockport.

Father Christmas will also be there in his grotto (£3 fee which will be donated to Reuben's Retreat).

Throwing!! For the first time in ages. I think I only threw a handful of pieces last year, my hand building took over.

It feels good to get back on the wheel. Only 2 got thrown in the bucket, so I'm pleased with 4 out of 6. Keith would be proud 😉

And I'd forgotten just how messy I am 🤣, there were more clay splashes behind me than in front. All over the floor and up the door, not sure how I managed that 😁

I've been making test tiles this morning. Using clay dug out of my garden with coloured stoneware slip on top. My plan after bisque firing is to add some transparent glaze on the coloured tiles and coloured glaze on the plain tiles then low fire half and mid fire the other half. I want to see how the garden clay behaves.

I've donated this little heart mug as one of the raffle prizes available during Heaton Moor's ChristmasFest, being held on Sunday 4th December, to raise money for local 2023 Community Events.

Tickets are £1 each available at the Heaton Post Hub on Tatton Road, Sunday 4th December. Prizes include my handmade mug along with other items donated from local crafters in the area.
