Here we have a huge LVT repair in Macclesfield where the original fitters have used pressure sensitive glue, then spread it out before they left letting it go off overnight. Returning in the morning to fit LVT straight in the (not so tacky) glue leaving the customer with a nightmare after they left. Not only is the fitting poor quality, but on closer inspection, nail heads were left raised, a heat gun had been used to slash the LVT in. Sadly, Iโ€™m getting more and more calls for repairs because the customer doesnโ€™t want the original fitters back, and, Iโ€™m hearing some builders, joiners, kitchen fitters claiming to be able to install LVT. Sub floor preparation is key, otherwise like this customer, you end up in a whole world of bother!

Latest installation of Invictus Luxury Vinyl Tile Flooring - Roasted Oak, this was laid on two layers of ply board to build up the levels to the skirting boards due to a gap left from removing original laminate flooring.

We started with a solid base of 9mm SP101 plywood sheets laid, nailed every 100mm, feathered, and ready for the magic.
