Lindy Garner Ceramics Small batch ceramics made in Cheadle, Cheshire. Lindy Garner Ceramics is a small ceramics studio based in South Manchester- Cheadle to be a bit more specific.

It's a one woman show and each piece is handmade by me, Lindy, and no two pieces are the exactly the same. My main focus is decorative pieces which are a little bit different and bit quirky. I started Lindy Garner Ceramics in 2016 and haven’t looked back!

Something new is making its debut

My new porcelain jewellery collection will be coming with me to Good Things Market in Hull this Sunday.

Each piece is made by hand in my studio using porcelain, with simple black and white forms, touches of metallic leaf and lots of little variations that make every piece slightly different.

I’ve really loved making these — it’s been such a nice way to explore clay on a completely different scale from my usual mugs, cups and pots.

Hull gets first look this Sunday, and then the collection will be heading online afterwards.

I can’t wait to see them out in the world. 🤍

A little glimpse of something new…

I’m working on a new glaze combination for my **Mosswood collection**, layering a soft blue with one of my new earthy brown glazes.

Where the two overlap, they create the most beautiful green—making each piece look like a tiny landscape, with earth below and a misty blue sky above.

It doesn’t have a name yet, but I couldn’t wait to share it. What does it remind you of?

A tiny new resident for one of my favourite little pots

I propagated this little plant myself and I think it’s found exactly the right home. There’s something ridiculously satisfying about growing a new plant from a cutting — especially when you get to make its pot too.

Little face, little legs, little plant. Quite pleased with this combination. 😊

A little shop update is now live

I’ve added a small batch of new pieces to the website, including the first pieces in Moorland, my newest glaze.

It’s a lovely mix of mossy greens, warm browns and soft cream, with little flashes of almost metallic colour where the glazes overlap. Every piece has come out slightly differently — which is exactly what I love about layered glazes.

There are new mugs, dimple cups and bowls in the update, all made by me in my little studio in Cheadle.

Slow mornings.
Coffee brewed in the Chemex.
Milk poured from a handmade jug.
Breakfast in a favourite bowl.
The sort of morning that reminds me why I make pottery in the first place.
This is a brand new glaze I’ve been working on, inspired by the weathered colours of the British moorlands—moss, stone and earth, with little metallic flashes where the glazes overlap.
I’ve decided to call it Moorland, and I think it might be one of my favourites yet.

A good coffee cup should do more than hold your coffee—it should fit seamlessly into the way you make it.

One thing many people don’t realise is that most of my coffee cups and mugs are designed to work with an AeroPress, making them perfect for slow mornings and everyday brews.

If you’re an AeroPress user and you’re not sure whether a particular piece will fit, just send me a message before ordering and I’ll happily check for you.

Because handmade pottery should be beautiful and practical. ☕️
