To block or not to block? Spolier, always block 😅

If you want to get the most out of your yarn then we always recommend blocking, I’m yet to find a yarn that isn’t improved by either a soak, a steam or a mist

Earlier this week I had the absolute privilege to head over to to teach 2 brioche workshops in one day!

Getting out to other yarn shops is always so much fun, especially when you get to meet shop owners that you’ve been chatting to for years but never actually met IRL.

Michaela has built the most amazing community of talented crafters in Formby and it was a delight to be invited in with such a warm welcome 💕

last weekend I ventured up to my old stomping grounds on the Solway coast for some time to reset and relax (and of course craft)

Train knitting is always the perfect bit of me time, undisturbed, guilt free time to just knit. On the needles in the electric blue (yarn to be revealed) is the easypeasy bandana by Susanne Müller. In the stunning burnt orange are the Penny Gloves by knit up in Eclipse, a stunning cashmere merino.

I got to hang out with the beautiful folks from ***rcumbria who do amazing work empowering the young q***r community up north, work like this would have changed the lives of so many if it had existed years ago when me and my friends grew up. 💕

And finally before heading back down I managed to stop by to see the fantastic Lisa in her amazing yarn shop Hand made by you in Maryport. Handmade By You

Recharged by the sea air, I’m excited to get back to it x

Everyone please go show some love 🫶🏻🧶

This is the lovely Mitch, owner of a the brand new crafty yarny store nestled in the Lakes! I had the pleasure of meeting them yesterday, grabbing a brew and chatting all things yarn shop!

I personally can’t wait to get the chance to pop by their new shop and say at my self to some goodies!
