Next Saturday we’re channelling full Wonder Woman energy at Stockport Jewellery School. ⚡️

Join us for our Brass Cuff Workshop and leave wearing a shiny golden statement piece you made yourself. Loud enough to say “I’m powerful and creative” but still socially acceptable for a trip to Aldi afterwards.

You’ll learn traditional silversmithing techniques, hammer, shape and texture your cuff from sheet metal, and somehow turn a flat piece of brass into something that looks suspiciously expensive.

No experience needed — just a willingness to hit metal with a hammer and embrace your inner warrior woman for a few hours.

Not sure where to start with jewellery making? Our Silver Jewellery Taster Session this Saturday is the perfect way to dip your toes in without committing to a full course.

You’ll learn the basics of silversmithing, get hands-on with the tools and leave with your own handmade silver jewellery piece. No experience needed, no pressure, just a couple of hours of creativity, tea, chatter and making something properly yours.

Then on the 20th June we’ve got the Brass Cuff Workshop — one of the most satisfying workshops we run. Hammering, shaping, texture, fire and a gorgeous chunky brass cuff to take home at the end of it. It’s bold, fun and very addictive.

All materials, equipment, tea, coffee and chocolate included.
Small groups of max 8 people so everyone gets plenty of support.

Tomorrow the new 6 week intro to silversmithing course begins 💛

For the next six weeks this studio will be filled with nervous excitement, cups of tea, wonky first attempts, accidental tiny victories and people discovering they’re far more creative than they thought.

Some students will leave with a new hobby.
Some will continue onto further courses.
Some will rent benches and keep making.
Some will eventually sell their work in the shop.

But all of them will leave knowing they created something with their own two hands ✨

There are still a couple of spaces remaining if you’ve been thinking about booking.

This is your gentle reminder that you are allowed to do things simply because they bring you joy.

This morning’s silver stack ring workshop = shiny rings, lots of laughs and a studio full of lovely people creating jewellery that’s completely their own ✨

Everyone started by practising in copper before moving onto silver and leaving with handmade rings they can actually say “I made that” about. My favourite kind of mornings.

If you missed out on this one, there are still spaces available on next Saturday’s Silver Jewellery Taster Workshop. In my opinion… the most fun one 👀 More tools, more experimenting and more freedom to create something truly you.
