Good evening, all 👋

Another great week for our Autism Angels! Although the weather had other plans for us, the team still managed to make the most of every day 🌧️

After last week's heat kept us indoors, this week it was the rain that caused a few problems! With plenty of heavy downpours making outdoor work difficult, the Angels spent lots of time in the workshop, getting cracking with more woodwork projects and continuing to learn and strengthen their practical skills 🪚

We did manage to catch a few breaks in the weather too, giving the team the chance to head out and help some of our clients in their gardens. From cutting grass to trimming hedges, they got stuck in and did another brilliant job 🌿

This week was also a little bittersweet, as we had to wish good luck to one of our amazing Angels, Tom-Leo. Tom-Leo is heading off on some new and exciting adventures, so his time with us as an Angel has come to an end 💙

We couldn't let him leave without celebrating everything he's brought to the project, so we enjoyed some cake and spent some time together giving him a lovely send-off!

Tom-Leo, thank you for being such a superstar and for all the hard work, enthusiasm and support you've shown during your time with us. The Angels have benefited so much from having you as part of the team, and it definitely won't be the same without you! We wish you the very best ⭐

A whole lot of hard work for a fresh new look! 👀

Throwback to a client transformation our Angels worked on back in July. This time, our reel shows you not only the before and after, but also the whole Angels process. The Angels transformed this fence by scrubbing and clearing away all the dirt and debris, and then gave it a fresh new coat of paint, making it look amazing, if we do say so ourselves! ✨

But it’s not just about the finished result. Our Angels put plenty of hard work, practical skills and teamwork into every project, and we love being able to give you a glimpse of them in action! They’re continually building their confidence, learning new skills and gaining valuable experience while making a real difference out and about in our local community 👏

And just look at that transformation! Our client's fence is looking fresh and ready for them to enjoy for all of the British Summer we have left ☀️

Those with experience in care or supporting vulnerable adults are ideal, and experience supporting autistic adults is desirable. But most importantly, we want to hear from those with the right attitude, values and willingness to learn 🙌

As our support workers transport members to activities and appointments, you will need to have:

Good evening 👋

Well, last week certainly brought the heat! With temperatures making outdoor work a little too much at times, our Angels made the most of their time indoors, getting stuck into some brilliant projects at the workshop and continuing to strengthen their practical skills 💪

The team have been busy creating wooden bird tables completely from scratch! They worked through every stage of the process, from preparing and working with the wood, to constructing the tables, putting everything together, and finally giving them a coat of paint to finish them off. It's been fantastic to see the Angels working through each step, learning along the way and supporting each other to create something they can be proud of 🪚

We've also started work on some items for Christmas... yes, Christmas! Our Angels have already started working on some festive items ready for our annual Autism Matters Christmas Fayre. You can never be too prepared, right?! They'll be getting their creations ready to showcase and sell at the fayre, giving everyone the chance to see the fantastic things our Angels can make!

When the weather cooled down slightly, the team were able to get back outside and visit some clients' gardens, carrying out some brilliant transformations. Make sure you check out the before and after photos below to see the difference for yourself! 🪴

Hi everyone 👋

Another busy week for our Autism Angels, with plenty happening both in the workshop and out in the community!

Inside our workshop, the team have been getting stuck into some brilliant woodworking projects, making more of our handmade planters while learning and practising new skills along the way. It's been great to see everyone working together, sharing ideas, and developing their confidence with each project 🪚

Out in the community, our Angels have also been getting stuck into a fantastic garden transformation, this time giving a garden wall a fresh new look with a good coat of paint. The difference is amazing, so make sure you have a look through the before and after photos to see the transformation for yourself! 🎨

It's been another week of learning, teamwork, hard work and plenty to be proud of. We love seeing our Angels putting their skills into action and creating something brilliant together 💙

Good evening 👋

Another week has flown by, and our Autism Angels have been hard at work across the community and back at AMHQ!

Out and about, the team have been taking on more garden transformation projects, helping clients breathe new life into their outdoor spaces. From general garden maintenance to painting fences, it's been fantastic to see the care and pride our Angels put into every job they complete 🌿

Back in the workshop, the team have been busy with their latest woodworking projects, creating more of the handcrafted planters that have become so popular. Every project is another opportunity to develop practical skills and work together, while creating something to be proud of 🪚

Good evening 👋

It's been another productive week for our Autism Angels, with the team continuing to make a real difference both out in the community and back at our workshop.

Our Angels have been busy transforming clients' gardens, cutting back, tidying up, and helping outdoor spaces look their very best. It's always rewarding to see the difference their hard work makes, and we love looking back at the before and after photos ☀️

Back at AMHQ, the team have also been getting creative, continuing to develop their practical skills in the workshop. Every task is a chance to learn something new, build confidence, and work together towards a shared goal 🛠️

From garden transformations to hands-on workshop projects, it's been another week full of teamwork, learning, and plenty of smiles. We're incredibly proud of everything our Angels have achieved, and we hope you enjoy this week's photo round-up! 💙

Good evening,

Last week was another week getting stuck in for our Autism Angels! 💪

It was full of variety, with the team spending time all across the community making a real difference. Our Angels have been helping clients refresh their outdoor spaces, tackling garden transformations and leaving them looking neat, cared for, and ready to enjoy 🪴

The team also lent a helping hand at Zoe's Place, working in their garden and doing their bit to brighten up the space for everyone there 💝

Back at our workshop and AMHQ, there was just as much happening. The Angels worked on constructing benches and also rolled up their sleeves to tidy the area outside our front entrance, clearing weeds and giving it a fresh new look ✨

Every week is another opportunity to put in hard graft and work together as a team, but also to have fun and a good laugh along the way. We're so proud of everything our Angels continue to achieve, and we hope you enjoy this week's photo round-up! 👏
