✨ A little behind-the-scenes scoopie making! ✨

This is how I pour my Scoopies and yes… it probably looks a little unusual if you’ve never seen it before 😂

I pour the wax across the top of the mould and then use my trusty silicone spatula to gently push it into all the little spaces. It helps make sure every section is filled properly and gives me those lovely chunky scoopie pieces once they’re set. 🩷

One thing I’ve been doing recently is making my Scoopies feel a little more… me. 🥹

So alongside the scented wax, I’ve started adding fun little shapes and details because if you’ve followed me for any length of time, you’ll know I can’t resist adding a bit of whimsy to things 😂✨

Whether it’s Piggles, bears, mushrooms, seashells or whatever creative idea has taken over my brain that week, I love adding those little extra touches.

Honestly, I could watch wax pour all day. There’s something ridiculously satisfying about it. 🫠🕯️

Barnaby has been one of my most-loved launches this year and I’m so grateful to everyone who has already given one a home.

A little peek behind the scenes of July’s limited edition candle drop! 🐚🩷

There’s something so satisfying about de-moulding a fresh pot and seeing all those tiny details reveal themselves. 😍

This month’s collection is inspired by my happy place… the sea. And with us spending two whole weeks in Cornwall this July, it felt like the perfect theme. 🌊

In this reel you’ll see the main Under the Sea candle pot along with the matching seashell trio, and yes… the shells will be getting candles poured into them too! 🐚🕯️

Can we also take a moment to appreciate these moulds? They’re from and genuinely some of the best moulds I’ve ever worked with. The detail is incredible and they de-mould beautifully every single time. 🤍

Now comes the fun part… colours, candles and fragrance! ✨

✨ I think it’s safe to say I’m firmly in my creative era… ✨

When I started Wilks Candle Creations, it was all about the fragrance. The candles, the wax melts, the room sprays and diffusers.

And don’t get me wrong… I still absolutely love creating products that make your home smell incredible. 🩷🕯️

But over the last year, something has shifted.

I’ve found myself leaning more and more into the creative side of making. Designing collections. Creating handmade candle pots. Developing themes and stories. Turning ideas into something you can hold in your hands.

One week I’m pouring Piggles. 🐷

The next I’m creating teddy bear candle pots. 🧸

Then I’m designing mushroom houses, fairytale roses, seashell collections and whatever other wild idea decides to move into my brain and refuse to leave. 😂

Every candle pot is hand-poured by me. Every wax melt is poured by me. Every room spray, diffuser, sticker, label, collection idea and colour choice comes from this little studio.

There isn’t a big team behind Wilks Candle Creations.

It’s just me, a lot of creativity, a few questionable amounts of tea, and a determination to keep making beautiful things. ☕✨

I’ve been working on these alongside your orders and I couldn’t wait any longer to share a little sneak peek. 🩷

The next instalment in my monthly limited candle pot collection will be launching on 1st July, and this month’s theme is…

🐚 UNDER THE SEA 🐚

If you know me, you’ll know the sea is my peaceful place. The sound of the waves, collecting shells, rock pooling, long beach walks… it instantly makes me feel calm. Craig is exactly the same, so with us spending two weeks in Cornwall this July, it felt like the perfect theme for this month’s collection. 🌊✨

This collection will feature:

🩷 A stunning seashell trinket candle pot with a pastel starfish and shell lid

🩷 Matching shell candle pots inspired by treasures washed up on the shore

🩷 Beautiful coastal colours and beachy details

🩷 100% soy wax candles hand-poured by me

🩷 Limited quantities once again

As always, these aren’t just candles. Once the candle has finished, the pot can be cleaned and reused as a keepsake trinket pot, jewellery holder or little piece of coastal décor. 🤍

I absolutely love creating these monthly collections because each one tells its own story, and this one is already giving me Cornwall beach days, salty sea air, seashell hunting and pastel summer vibes. ☀️🐚

Still lots to do before launch day, but I couldn’t keep these beauties secret any longer. 👀
