🍂 The inspiration behind my autumn acorn candle pots… 🍂

These handmade autumn candle pots are part of my limited-edition seasonal home-fragrance collection. Each reusable eco-resin candle vessel is handmade and painted in my North East UK home studio before being filled with natural soy wax and a cosy autumn scent 🕯️🤎

The pictures of tumbling leaves on my autumn mood board have inspired me so much. Sunlight streaming through golden woodland, leaves dancing on the breeze and that irresistible urge to kick through every crunchy pile you pass… they capture everything I love about the season.

Those rich shades of burnt orange, copper, bronze and gold became the inspiration for my handmade acorn pot. The softly coloured base reflects the warm, earthy shades of fallen leaves, while the hand-painted bronze lid catches the light like sunshine filtering through the trees ✨

The autumn fragrances needed to feel just as comforting:

🔥 Fireside Treats — a warm, smoky roasted-marshmallow home fragrance that feels like sitting beside a crackling fire with something deliciously sweet in the air.

🍋 Hot Toddy — a comforting blend of wh**ky and lemon, made for dark evenings, cosy blankets and shutting out the chill.

I wanted these handmade soy candles to feel like bringing a tiny piece of an enchanted autumn woodland into your home—a little reminder to slow down, get cosy and enjoy the magic of the season 🍁

Once the candle has finished, the eco-resin pot can be cleaned and reused as a decorative storage vessel, allowing it to remain part of your autumn décor long after the final burn.

🍂 Handmade autumn candle pots are officially taking over my home studio! 🍂

Here they are—the first acorn pots marking the beginning of this year’s autumn collection at Wilks Candle Creations 🤎

Each one has been handmade from eco-resin, carefully finished by hand and topped with the gorgeous bronze lid you all helped me choose. They’re warm, cosy and just a little bit magical—everything I want an autumn candle to feel like 🕯️✨

Once filled with soy wax and one of my cosy autumn fragrances, they’ll become candles designed to be enjoyed throughout the season. Afterwards, the reusable pot can be cleaned out and kept as part of your autumn décor for years to come.

These genuinely make my autumn-loving heart so happy—and apparently I can’t hold just one without grinning like I’ve personally invented acorns 😂

Making handmade eco-resin candle pots again—and it feels so good to be back! 🥹🍂

This is my first proper making Reel since the beginning of July, and honestly, I’ve really missed sharing this side of my small business with you.

There’s something so satisfying about getting the Aquacast mixed, adding the colour and pouring each candle vessel by hand—although remembering how quickly it starts setting was a fun little welcome back 😂

I’m making the first batch of 10 autumn acorn pots, ready to be finished with those gorgeous bronze lids you all unanimously chose 🤎

After moving Wilks Candle Creations back home and creating a completely new workspace, standing here making again feels like the beginning of a new chapter.

It may have taken me a little while to get here, but… I’m back, and it’s good to be creating again 🕯️✨

🍂 I may have gone slightly overboard with autumn… 🍂

You all gave such a unanimous YES to the bronze acorn that I’ve already repainted the lid of my second tester pot from gold to bronze 😂🤎

Apparently I didn’t need much convincing!

And because painting autumn candle pots clearly wasn’t enough, I’ve also been drawing away on Procreate—acorns, pumpkins, autumn leaves… basically, my entire creative world has turned orange and bronze overnight 🎃🍁

Can you tell autumn is my absolute favourite season? There’s just something about the warm colours, cosy fragrances and golden details that makes my little creative heart very happy.

The bronze acorn is officially the winner—but now I need to know: are you an autumn lover too, or are you still clinging onto summer? 👀
