I’ve been saying for DAYS that I’m going to sort out the porch storage area… and have I done it? Absolutely not 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

But today is the day—procrastination will not win! 💪🏻 I’m determined to get everything properly organised so I finally have somewhere to store all of my gorgeous handmade products without playing Tetris every time I need something.

Although… I may or may not have already started looking at studio spaces again because I’m rapidly running out of room at home 👀😂

✨ A little behind the scenes at Wilks Studio today… ✨

Today I’m packing all of your lovely recent orders, organising supplies and desperately trying to tidy my little studio area—because apparently creative chaos doesn’t clean itself 😂

After the cauldron candle pots sold out, I’ve had so many enquiries about another batch, while the vote for the gingerbread pot’s metallic details has also given me plenty to think about! My brain now lives permanently somewhere between Halloween and Christmas.

This is the side of running a creative small business that I want to share more of: the making, packing, planning, experimenting and inevitable mess behind every finished piece.

Thank you for every order, comment, vote and message—it all helps shape what comes next at Wilks Studio, and I genuinely appreciate every one of you 🤍

This reel is a little longer than my usual ones, but if you’re new here, this is me and the heart behind this small creative business.

2026 has broken parts of me in ways I never expected, but it has also given me the fuel to stop waiting for the “right time,” embrace who I am now and build something that feels completely and unapologetically mine.

Wilks Studio is where I’ll share the real journey—the handmade creations, new ideas, experiments, behind-the-scenes chaos, little wins and the occasional thing that goes spectacularly wrong 😂

I’m not here to pretend that life or running a small business is always polished and perfect. I’m here to create beautiful things, build something meaningful for my family and hopefully make this a cosy little corner of the internet.

🎃 Handmade Pumpkin Spice Candle Pots—only a few left! 🎃

A huge thank you to everyone who has ordered one of my handmade pumpkin candle pots so far. It genuinely means so much to see something I’ve created being chosen for your homes 🤎

Each reusable pumpkin pot is individually cast, sanded, sealed and finished by me, complete with a hand-painted bronze stalk. Inside, you’ll find a hand-poured soy wax candle in gorgeous Pumpkin Spice—warm, comforting and basically autumn in candle form 🍂🕯️

Once the candle has finished, simply clean out the pot and reuse it as part of your autumn décor year after year.

There are only a few pumpkins left, and I’d absolutely love to see them find their new homes!

✨ Feeling good and getting things done today! ✨

It hasn’t been the most exciting small-business day—lots of home and business admin, printing product labels and cleaning—but those behind-the-scenes jobs still have to happen… apparently the products won’t label themselves. Rude 😂

Now that I’ve been productive, my attention has turned to my hair. It’s definitely looking a little tired and desperately needs some life putting back into it!

I’m contemplating a deep red and pink combination, something similar to the inspiration in the final photo. I love the richer red with those brighter pink sections, but is it a fabulous idea or am I about to create chaos for myself? 😂🩷❤️
