The Emma Bridgewater factory lies in the heart of the historic Stoke Potteries, in a sunny Victorian factory on the banks of the Caldon Canal. Join a factory tour, try decorating a piece of unique pottery, relax for lunch in our beautiful cafe, or enjoy an afternoon in the garden behind the factory. We’ve got a gorgeous factory shop, full of your favourite pieces and a lovely gift shop selling our

:: GOOD NEWS AT LAST FOR OUR BRITISH POTTERY INDUSTRY ::
After a very long campaign and the efforts of Stoke-on-Trent ceramics makers, Ceramics UK and others including our local MPs over recent years, we were very pleased to welcome Secretary of State for Business & Trade Peter Kyle to the Emma Bridgewater Factory last week following the announcement of £120m of government investment into our sector.

Sharing what we do within a British heritage craft industry that contributes £1.2 billion to the UK economy, was a great opportunity and we are looking forward to learning more about how this funding will support with both energy costs, and help to build a more energy resilient industry into the future.

Thank you to our constituency MP, Gareth Snell MP for his campaigning and support for Stoke-on-Trent pottery. And thank you to our all customers who signed the petition and who appreciate the skills, expertise and design excellence that go into Emma Bridgewater pottery - always check the backstamp for Made in Stoke-on-Trent!

Decorated in our new Emma Bridgewater x Peter Rabbit™ , this very special sculpture created by our Design team and Wild in Art for this summer's Peter Rabbit: Tales on the Tyne trail, is visiting us at the Emma Bridgewater Factory for the next few weeks!

Hop along to visit us at our factory in Stoke-on-Trent for your special snap with the famous bunny, book in to decorate your own kitchen garden themed pottery and take on our free children's trail too to win a treat throughout Half Term and until the end of June.

Celebrating a love of the British countryside, our beautiful new pattern is inspired by original stencils created by Beatrix Potter’s original art and illustrations which have been re-imagined as sponge-ware designs.

A limited number of selected pieces from the Emma Bridgewater x Peter Rabbit™ collection are now available in our Stoke-on-Trent Factory Gift Shop, and the full collection will launch online and instore in July to mark Beatrix Potter's 160th birthday.

🥕MEET A VERY SPECIAL PETER RABBIT THIS HALF TERM AT THE EMMA BRIDGEWATER FACTORY 🥕
Peter Rabbit is packing his bags and heading off on a little tour stop at the Emma Bridgewater Factory to introduce our wonderful new Emma Bridgewater x Peter Rabbit collection, celebrating 160 years since the birth of Beatrix Potter.

From 18 May to the end of June, Peter be holding court at our Stoke-on-Trent factory in the form of a giant sculpture (dressed in his Peter in the Garden Emma Bridgewater pattern finest) before hopping off to the Tails on the Tyne art trail in support of St Oswald's Hospice. https://talesonthetyne.co.uk/

While he’s in town, you can say hello, snap a photo, grab first dibs on the new Emma Bridgewater x Peter Rabbit collection, have a go at pottery decorating, and follow the family trail, just don’t expect him to sit still for long… he is on tour, after all.

And be among the first to shop our new Emma Bridgewater x Peter Rabbit collection at the Stoke-on-Trent Factory Gift Shop from 18 May. Two brand-new patterns will be available exclusively in Stoke before launching online in July (very limited tour merch, you might say).

In landlocked Staffordshire we're absolutely loving our new, mixed-up collection that references and evokes the unchanging pleasures of beach huts, cockling, lollies, fish & chips, the show on the pier - and a huge great dish of Cromer crabs, whitebait, prawns shrimps with plenty of lemon squeezed over it- and mayo on the side - oh yes!
