Dear art lovers,
Two of our artists Nick Moore and Ian Mood are exhibiting with a colleague Sally Fitchard at the Brampton Art Gallery in Newcastle -Brampton Museum
FUSE Exhibition runs from Saturday 14 January to Sunday, 16 April 2023 at Brampton Museum and Art Gallery. The opening evening is at 7pm on Thursday , 12 January with blues music by Tree Katz an opportunity to chat with the artists.

Additional work by the artists can be found at Barewall Art Gallery Barewall in Burslem and CastleART Gallery in Newcastle.

MEET OUR ARTIST: today Anna Drezova Art

Anna is a portrait and landscape artist based in Keele.
Born in Russia, she moved to Staffordshire in 2004. Before becoming a full time fine art painter Anna worked as a freelance wallpaper and fabric designer.

While enjoying different media, Anna now predominantly works in oils. Her style is loose and impressionistic. In her artwork Anna tries to combine contemporary approach to composition and design with traditional painting techniques.

Anna loves painting landscapes, still life and regularly take portrait commissions. To improve her portraiture skills Anna attended a month-long summer course in portraiture at a prestige St. Petersburg Academy of Arts, Russia and a year-long portrait painting course at the Realist Academy of Arts in Manchester.
This year Anna won first prize at the Three Counties Open Art Exhibition.

For many years Anna has been sharing her love for art with children, running after-school painting and drawing classes in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

MEET OUR ARTIST: today > Paul Newcastle Art

Hi, I'm Staffordshire artist Paul Newcastle, I'm best known for my landscape and seascape paintings rendered in oil. However, I also paint still-life, portraits and animal artworks. I started to paint on a regular basis in 2013 after twenty five years not painting. Now, I couldn't think of my life without a brush in my hand. My art now plays a large role in my life. Following on from the success of two solo exhibitions, I now have collectors of my artwoks throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.

I want my seascapes and landscapes to capture the beauty of natural light. I'm inspired by nature, the reflections, the colours and the emotions it creates. I love the movement of the sea, wether it's a crashing wave against the rocks or a gentle roll onto a white sandy beach... we all need escapism. My escapism is painting it!

Winner of "The People's Choice Award" at The Brampton Museum and Art Gallery Open Exhibition 2019. I've also exhibited throughout the U.K. and as a member of The Society of Staffordshire Artists (SSA) I'm proud of my Staffordshire roots. I have my art studio in the town centre of Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire.
