We have a feeling a lot of homes are going to smell the same tonight.

Summer Cinders has officially started arriving, which means all across the country, Subs Club boxes are being opened, ribbons untied and first burns are happening.

And the timing feels rather perfect.

For so many of us, today and tomorrow mark the return of school runs, alarms being set again, uniforms laid out, packed lunches made and some kind of normal routine slowly finding its way back after summer.

So tonight feels like a good night to light something new.

If your Summer Cinders has already arrived, consider this your sign to light it with us. And please tag us in your first burns because there’s something very lovely about seeing the same little amber glow appearing in homes all over the country.

And if yours is still on its way, your turn is coming very soon.

And just like that, September’s Subs Club begins.

The doors officially close this evening, the final names are being added to our list, and Summer Cinders now belongs to this month’s little community.

From today, we begin making, wrapping and preparing hundreds of boxes before they start their journeys to homes across the country.

And then comes our favourite part.

Boxes arriving. Ribbons being untied. Lids being lifted. That very first burn.

For the next month, we all get to live with the same scent, at the same time, before it disappears for good.

Summer Cinders has been burning in our studio and our homes for weeks now, and very soon, it won’t just be ours anymore.

September’s Subs Club begins next week, and hundreds of these will start making their way into your homes too.

That little in-between where summer hasn’t quite left, but you can feel something beginning to change.

Behind the month. August, somewhere between Subs Club and the summer holidays 🖤

While Soft Serve is now burning away in homes up and down the country, behind the scenes we’re already doing it all over again.

Candles setting. Boxes being built. Cards being packed. September’s Subs Club slowly taking shape around us.

There’s always this funny little crossover each month where one fragrance has just left us, another is being made, and the next one is already being talked about behind closed doors. It never really stops, and I think that’s one of my favourite things about Subs Club.

And today, the behind the scenes is particularly accurate because we’re approaching the end of the summer holidays, which means the kids are in with us too 🤣

So today is very much a family work day. Candles being poured, orders being packed, children being entertained, snacks approximately everywhere and all of us under one roof.

Not necessarily the glamorous side of running a fragrance house, but very much the real one.

The product you come in for once, then quietly become obsessed with.

Our hand wash doesn’t always shout as loudly as our candles, but the people who use it really love it.

A beautiful lather, a fragrance that stays softly on the skin, and one of those tiny everyday things that makes washing your hands feel a little less ordinary.

Because scent doesn’t have to be reserved for the candle you light in the evening. It can be woven into all the little rituals in between.

And yes, pairing it with a candle and a ridiculously long bath is very much encouraged 🖤
