Saturday mornings in Stone, and there’s plenty of reasons to pay us a little visit today… 🍁🕯️

Our flagship is open until 5pm, the candles are burning, the shop is feeling all kinds of cosy, and we’re fully stocked and ready for a lovely busy Saturday!

We’ve got shelves full of your favourite candles, wax melts, reed diffusers, hand care, beautifully curated gift boxes and plenty of little treats for yourself (or someone else 🤭)

And there’s even more reason to wander into town today, with a brand new artisan market taking place on the High Street! A gorgeous excuse to spend a slow Saturday exploring Stone, supporting independent businesses and discovering something lovely along the way.

A rare little opportunity has opened up… 🕯️✨

We’ve had a cancellation for one of our upcoming Candle Making Workshops, which means TWO tickets have become available for Friday 20th November!

As our workshops are now completely SOLD OUT until 2027, this is a lovely little chance to join us before the year is out.

You can book your places directly through our website, or if you already have a Candle Making Gift Voucher you’d like to redeem, simply drop us an email and we’ll get you booked in.

And speaking of vouchers… With Christmas approaching, our Candle Making Gift Vouchers make a beautiful gift for someone who loves a little creativity (and a gorgeous candle).

Five years of fragrance, craftsmanship and beautiful memories 🌸

For over five years, we’ve had the pleasure of working with Sandon Hall, one of Staffordshire’s most beautiful wedding venues, creating their very own signature fragrance, Sandon in Bloom.

Inspired by the breathtaking conservatory at Sandon Hall, the fragrance captures the elegance of peonies in full bloom. A timeless, romantic floral that has become part of the venue’s signature atmosphere.

But what makes this collaboration particularly special is the story behind it.

Burned throughout wedding celebrations, Sandon in Bloom becomes part of the atmosphere of each couple’s special day. And when the celebrations are over, each couple is gifted their very own candle, allowing them to take that fragrance home and revisit those memories for years to come.

After years of creating the collection in our signature amber glass, we’ve recently introduced Sandon in Bloom in our new bespoke ceramic vessel, finished in warm ivory with the most beautiful peony pink ribbon.

A lovely new chapter for a collaboration we’re incredibly proud of.

Because to us, Private Label has always been about so much more than creating a branded candle. It’s about capturing the identity of a place, the atmosphere of an experience and the memories that stay with us long after the moment has passed.

Antique Bookshop is back! ✨

And yes, we’ve made a LOT of it.

After what feels like forever, we’re very happy to announce that Antique Bookshop has officially been restocked, both online and in our Stone flagship.

For five years, Antique Bookshop has held its place as The Wandering Bee’s bestselling candle. The fragrance you come back for time and time again, the one we’re constantly asked about, and the one we can never quite seem to keep on our shelves.

And with the busiest season of the year now well underway, we knew we needed to make this restock a big one.

So we’ve been busy in the studio, pouring as much Antique Bookshop as we possibly can.

It’s finally here. And it’s ready for you.

As always, we’d recommend getting your hands on it sooner rather than later. If the last five years have taught us anything, it’s that Antique Bookshop never stays on our shelves for very long.

A slightly different kind of working day for The Wandering Bee today… 🎙️

Swapped the candle shop for a podcast studio this morning, and I had the absolute pleasure of being invited along to talk all things business, being a founder, and of course, the journey behind The Wandering Bee.

I can’t share too much about it just yet (which, if you know me, you’ll know is VERY difficult 🤣), but let’s just say we covered a lot, and I absolutely loved every minute of it.

The full episode won’t be landing until the new year, but there’ll be some little teasers coming your way very soon, so keep your eyes peeled.

It’s not every day I get to sit down, reflect on everything we’ve built, and talk about the experiences that have shaped both me and the business along the way.

And naturally, I couldn’t turn up without bringing a candle along for the occasion 🕯️

Well, we think it’s safe to say OoOoud has gone down rather well 🥹🖤

It’s been just under two weeks since October’s Subs Club landed, and the messages we’ve received have been absolutely incredible.

From subscribers who’ve been with us for years to those who joined for the very first time, seeing you fall in love with something we’ve spent so long creating is genuinely one of our favourite parts of doing this.

And these are just a handful of the messages we’ve received…

The thing about our Subs Club is that every month is something entirely new. A scent created exclusively for our subscribers, a story inspired by the season, and something you won’t find on our shelves or anywhere else.

You never quite know what you’re going to fall in love with next. And honestly, that’s part of the magic.

October belonged to OoOoud. November has an entirely different story to tell, and we’re already getting excited to share it with you.
