Yes, I know……….it has been years since posting on Facebook but sadly, being mechanical minded and technology minded is very rare 😂😂🤦🏻♀️ In our case we prefer to stick to what we know best and repair/fix things instead of trying to improve our computer skills 🙄😂🤦🏻♀️
Anyway, yes the grass is growing and yes, lawnmowers are breaking 🤬🤦🏻♀️ so I just wanted to give a brief description of what we can and can’t do in the hope that it helps you green fingered guys & gals out there and provides a bit more info on what you can get done locally instead of lining the pockets of huge shaper stores who often know absolutely nothing about the product they’re selling to you.
If you have a lawnmower (ride on or pedestrian), as long as it’s a well know Brand - ie, not a supermarket/bargin store/shopping channel purchase, the likelihood is we can fix it 👍.
Mountfield
Honda
Stiga
Hayter
Atco
John Deere
Castelgarden
Stihl
Husqvarna
Etc…….
The same goes for small plant such as chainsaws/hedgecutters/strimmers etc 👍
Now onto what we DON’T do (mainly to save your time and ours by calling/visiting us).
We don’t sharpen hand tools such as secateurs/lawn edgers/shears etc. We don’t work on “Chinese/generic” store/online purchase brands such as: Gardenline, Einhell, Powerdevil, G-tech, MacCulloch, Macallister, Webb (b&q type), Qualcast (b&q/screw fix type), Black & Decker etc. The reasons for this is not because we are trying to awkward but purely because we are unable to source parts, the machines are often unreliable even when new and they are priced/sold as throw away items when they fail.
We can of course sell you a GOOD quality (not Chinese) Mountfield, Stiga or Atco machine of which parts are usually readily available, reasonably priced and the machines themselves can be repaired if they breakdown instead of having to throw them away, filling landfills and you having to spend lots more money buying another new one 🙄🤦🏻♀️
Don’t buy rubbish and end up having to buy twice………buy quality and only buy once 👍❤️.
