Jauntily balanced atop an upcycled base sourced from a charity shop and painted with to zhoosh it up (dabbed on with a sponge if anyone is interested).

But this isn’t about the based but the lampshade!

I had all sorts of doubts about this shape. Thought it might be too fussy for the way I make my shades (monoprinted collaged tissue papers) but I don’t know what I was worried about. It is fabulous.

Will be making her debut at the Pop Up Showcase this coming Saturday 28th Feb at The Bull Hotel Stony Stratford.

Think I am smitten with this one. Now I have got over myself I will make some more like this!
