That it makes you feel alive ☺️ when the rain is coming at you from all angles, the wind is making it hard to stay upright and you risk losing your car door or the sun makes a brief appearance and you drop everything to go enjoy it.
An autumn stroll in the castle grounds before the gale rolls in tomorrow and enjoyed watching the creed swollen with all the recent rain. Hope no one saw me trying to get out to this rock for the perfect shot 😉

You certainly don’t visit or live here for the weather and I love the island for all that it throws at us.

With prices like this I could get halfway to Australia… almost. But seriously the price of flights from Stornoway to the mainland are insane! £290 one way!!
And then accommodation before because no one dares risk flying the same day as a connection 😉

Please share ❤ so we can find the right person to help cover unexpected staff leave. Includes Saturday work. Position will be mostly in the shop in town but cover as required at the workshop.
Ideally looking for Monday, Wednesday and Thursday work 9-5.
