All items designed and handmade by local crafters and inspired by the Hebrides and their heritage.

We've had a lovely couple of days in our new home at The Bayhead Bridge Centre, Stornoway and met so many lovely people.

Our thanks go to everyone who has visited us, to everyone who bought a handmade treasure to take away with them, to people who supported W.I.S.C.K. so generously and to people who showed so much interest in the demonstrations and community group.

We also have to thank the traders who actually make these events possible, and we are really looking forward to welcoming some brand new folk to the Emporium family in November.

Thank you as well to the Bayhead Bridge Centre, who have made us so welcome and helped to make this a lovely event. Also to The Bridge Cafe, who have fed quite a few of us admirably. The food is delicious.

We are happy to announce that the winner of the £25.00 Tesco Voucher this time was Mrs M. McLeod. Congratulations! Enjoy a spending spree on us.

Finally, we want to let you know that we will be open again in a few weeks' time. We have a great event planned and plenty of opportunity to find some lovely items for your Christmas gifts. (So sorry, the dreaded word slipped out, and it's only October).

What a fabulous set of visitors we have had at The Quality Craft Emporium today. We thank each and every one of you for your visit and hope you had a good time. Safe journeys home to our island visitors. Do come and spend more time on the island in the future.

If you weren't able to get along to THE BAYHEAD BRIDGE CENTRE today, don't worry at all. We will be there again tomorrow (10th October) from 10:00 - 4:00.

The Quality Craft Emporium will be opening its doors in the morning, Friday, 9th October at 10:00am.

We are at THE BAYHEAD BRIDGE CENTRE, our new venue, and are excited to welcome you along.

All sorts of beautiful, handmade crafts from our traders, craft demonstrations, the £25.00 Tesco Voucher Give-away, our first de-stash stall, support a local charity, meet The Crafter's Caboodle and more.

Well, we can count down in hours now if we really want to. Still seems easier to say that The Quality Craft Emporium will be open THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW that's FRIDAY 9TH AND SATURDAY 10TH OCTOBER.

Find us at THE BAYHEAD BRIDGE CENTRE from 10:00 - 4:00 each day,

Stalls of stunning handmade goodies, all inspired by the Hebrides and made by local artists and crafters. You can find jewellery, textile work such as knitting and weaving, Harris Tweed, original artwork, painted gifts and treasures and more.

You can find W.I.S.C.K.'s charity stall raising money to continue their work helping the cats and kittens on the islands.

You can find the FREE £25.00 Tesco Voucher Give-away. Simply put your name in the draw for a chance to win.

You can find a craft de-stash so you can add more to your own collection, ready for the long winter afternoons and evenings. They are fast approaching now. And if you want to find somewhere to craft with others, come and find the Crafter's Caboodle members who will be showing some of their makes and can give you information on how to join in.

You can find food and refreshments at The Bridge Cafe. (We have tested and can recommend the coffee and cakes - we felt it was only fair to make sure you would also enjoy them 😁).

You can find free parking and easy access to the event.

Three days to go now before The Quality Craft Emporium will be open at The Bayhead Bridge Centre. We're there on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th October from 10am to 4pm each day.

Craft stalls, live craft demonstrations, refreshments, our de-stash table this time too.

We would also love it if you would pop along and support W.I.S.C.K (Western Isles Support for Cats and Kittens) who will be with us and raising funds to carry on their work on the islands. Every penny adds to their kitty (sorry), so will you visit their stall do a little for them, please?

Something brand new for The Quality Craft Emporium this weekend. One of our crafters has been decluttering and asked if they could have an extra table to run as a de-stash. If you are a crafter yourself and are looking for things to add to your own stash for those long winter evenings, come and see what is available 😀.

We are open from 10:00 - 4:00 on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th October at THE BAYHEAD BRIDGE CENTRE.

This time next week, our October event will be all over, and we will be looking forward to our November event on the 20th and 21st.

Well, this time next week, we organisers will be making the last preparations for the October Quality Craft Emporium.

In fact, you could say that this time next week we will be open tomorrow 😁.

We hope that you will be coming along to
THE BAYHEAD BRIDGE CENTRE on
FRIDAY 9TH AND SATURDAY 10TH OCTOBER where we will be open from
10am - 4pm each day.

We have a fantastic selection of craft stalls where you could discover something that you never knew you wanted, and you can meet the talented makers behind the fabulous items, all designed and handmade by them and inspired by the Hebrides.

The Bridge Café will be open all day, serving delicious refreshments and food. Enjoy live demonstrations showcasing a variety of crafts, plus free parking and easy access. And by popular demand, the £25.00 Tesco Voucher is back—because who wouldn’t want to win a voucher for FREE?
