Right then… it’s time 🎄

Christmas is officially LIVE on the website ❤️

We’ve been working on this collection since June, cutting, painting, testing new designs, photographing, tweaking and listing our way through several heatwaves while surrounded by Christmas trees, gonks and snowflakes…And now you can finally see what we’ve been up to.

There are returning favourites, brand new designs and plenty of handmade wooden Christmas decorations and gifts ready for their festive moment.

And because this is Red Berry Crafts, this definitely isn’t the end of it. We’ll be adding more in the run-up to Christmas because, quite frankly, we just can’t help ourselves.

Selected Christmas pieces are already at our shelf in The Olde Watermill, more will be heading into Absolutely Shabbylass from next week and we’ll be taking the collection out with us from our next market on 24th October.

Two weeks…

That’s how long Annie is being left unsupervised with the Red Berry Crafts Instagram account.

Bea’s gone on holiday, Annie’s got the login and somewhere in Bedfordshire there is currently a woman wondering why running a small craft business also apparently requires a minor qualification in social media.

To be fair, she’s mastered Facebook.

Instagram, however, appears to operate under an entirely different set of laws.

And we’re not even going to mention the one that rhymes with clock.

Please be nice to her.

And if things go suspiciously quiet around here, you know why. 😂

We work hard to create our handcrafted wooden homeware, gifts and seasonal pieces from our Bedfordshire workshop.

Over the years we’ve heard all sorts.
“You buy it in.”
“You can get that cheaper in B&M.”
And comments like that do sting a bit (…although whilst Annie was a bit thrown off last year with one person saying they’d seen one of our items in M&S, I saw it as a major win!)

But what people don’t always see is everything that sits behind the finished product. The designing, cutting, painting, sanding, photographing, listing, packing and all the figuring-it-out as we go.

We’ve worked so hard on this year’s Christmas collection and we genuinely love what we’ve created 🎄❤️

This is just a sneaky peek of what will be going live on the website later this week.

Being a small business means things take time. We’re not content creators, website designers or a huge warehouse with a team behind us.

We’re just two people making, learning, tweaking things and doing our best to build something that feels like us.

Over the last year, we’ve grown from local markets into our own website, two permanent retail spaces and events across the region.

We’re still small, still hands-on and still very much making things our way.

One market, one order and one slightly chaotic workshop day at a time.

🎄 Introducing… The Merry Little Gonks! 🎄

Our little gonks were one of your favourites last Christmas that we just couldn’t leave them packed away for another year.

So they’re back for Christmas 2026… and they’ve brought two new friends to the party 👀

Our original four have been joined by Present Gonk and Snowflake Gonk, making a merry little gang of six, all hand-painted, layered and full of their own festive personality.

We’re currently knee-deep in Christmas at Red Berry HQ, painting, making, photographing and slowly getting this year’s festive collection ready for the website.

Our Christmas collection is very much loading… and we cannot wait to start showing you everything we’ve been working on. 🎄
