✨ Sunday Reflections ✨
As Sunday draws to a close, I’ve been reflecting on the week that’s been and everything that’s still to come.
It’s been a strange and emotional week in many ways.
At home, Ashton has officially finished Year 11, the end of an era. While there is excitement about what comes next, it’s also been a difficult time for him and many of his friends following some extremely sad news. It’s a reminder to cherish the people around us and never take the moments we share for granted.
We’re also preparing for another big milestone as Hayden gets ready to transition from primary to secondary school. Transition days, leavers’ hoodies, parents’ meetings and exciting plans for the leavers all make it feel very real. Time really does fly.
On the business side, we’ve had some exciting news too. 🎉
We’ve secured a new commercial contract for Sparkling Spruces, have three recruitment campaigns underway, and trial shifts and interviews booked in over the coming weeks.
Like many businesses, we’ve also had to navigate staff sickness, but we’ve pulled together as a team and continued to look after our clients while supporting our staff too.
And amongst it all, we’ve got a birthday to celebrate this week! 🥳🎂
A week of endings, new beginnings, challenges, opportunities and plenty of reminders about what truly matters.
Wishing everyone a positive week ahead, and a very Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads, stepdads, grandads, father figures and those remembered today. 💙
✨ Here’s to whatever next week brings. ✨🌲
