Calm, light and considered.

Aurena combines soft sculptural forms with clean architectural lines, creating a bathroom that feels refined without feeling formal.

The freestanding bath provides a strong focal point, while pale surfaces, brushed metal details and integrated storage keep the room feeling calm and uncluttered.

A beautiful example of contemporary bathroom design sitting comfortably within a more classical interior.

What does a quality kitchen actually look like?

If you’re comparing kitchens, look beyond the colour, worktop and overall first impression.

A few details can tell you far more about the quality:
• Cabinet construction — what materials are used beneath the finished surfaces?
• Drawers — do they feel solid, move smoothly and cope with everyday loads?
• Edges and finishes — look for consistency, clean detailing and carefully finished joints.
• Where materials meet — sinks, worktops, panels and appliances should feel properly integrated.
• Installation — straight lines, consistent gaps and accurate alignment can make a huge difference to the finished result.

A quality kitchen is a combination of furniture, design and installation, rather than one expensive finish or appliance.

Choosing kitchen finishes? Start with how the room needs to work.

In this bulthaup b3 kitchen, five decisions shaped the design before colours and materials were chosen:

1. Movement — the island helps keep the natural route between the hallway and garden away from the main cooking area.

2. Cooking — the BORA cooktop sits on the island, so the cook can face into the room rather than towards a wall.

3. Socialising — the walnut breakfast bar gives family and guests somewhere to sit without stepping into the working zone.

4. Storage — generous island storage and a roller-shutter cupboard keep everyday items and small appliances close at hand but out of sight.

5. Connection — the kitchen links visually and practically with the garden and adjoining utility, so the whole ground floor feels considered as one space.

Only then do the finishes come in: Alpine White, Flint and walnut, chosen to bring light, contrast and warmth to the finished room.

Good kitchen design starts with the layout. The finishes complete it.

We’re hiring a Senior Designer for our Wi******er studio.

This is more than a conventional showroom role. We’re looking for someone who wants to take a genuine interest in the reputation, pipeline and success of Wi******er, and who enjoys creating opportunities as much as responding to them.

You’ll need 5+ years’ experience in high-end kitchens, interiors or a closely related area of residential design, along with strong design judgement, commercial awareness, confidence with clients and a natural ability to build relationships.

You’ll create highly considered kitchens and interiors for private clients, while also helping us strengthen our connections with architects, interior designers, developers and other professionals across Wi******er and the wider Hampshire area.

Senior Designer | Wi******er
£35,000–£45,000 basic Uncapped performance-related commission
Realistic OTE £60,000–£75,000+
25 days’ holiday + bank holidays

If you’re an accomplished designer who enjoys people as much as design, and you’re ready for a little more ownership in your next role, we’d be very interested in talking.

Looking for utility room ideas for a country home? Deep green is a beautiful place to start.

This rich green brings warmth and character to the space, pairing naturally with oak, stone flooring and views of the garden.

Designed as a practical working room, the utility keeps laundry, cleaning and everyday jobs away from the main kitchen, without feeling separate from the rest of the home.

Green cabinetry feels particularly at home in rural interiors, where deeper tones sit comfortably alongside natural materials.

Would you choose green cabinetry for your utility room?

You don’t need to be an experienced designer. You need to want to become one.

We’re looking for someone at the beginning of their design career to join the Hobsons Choice team in Bath.

You’ll work alongside experienced designers on live high-end residential projects, supporting with CAD, surveys, specifications and technical information, while also being involved in client meetings, presentations, site visits and the wider design process.

The intention is very clear: to give the right person the opportunity to learn the role properly and, over time, progress from supporting projects to developing, presenting and ultimately winning projects of their own.

You may be a recent Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or Product Design graduate. You may already have some experience in practice. Or you may have taken a different route but have the creativity, technical aptitude and curiosity we’re looking for.

Bath | Full-time | £28,000–£30,000 depending on experience

If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. To apply visit https://bit.ly/4731mSN

Some people manage projects. Others take ownership of them.

We're looking for the latter.

We're recruiting a Senior Project Manager to join Hobsons Choice in Swindon.

Our projects bring together beautifully designed furniture, appliances, stone, specialist products and skilled installation, often alongside architects, interior designers, contractors and other professionals.

There are a lot of moving parts. The job of our Project Manager is to make sure it never feels that way to the client. We're looking for someone who is exceptionally organised, good with people, comfortable taking responsibility and naturally spots the things that others might miss.

You don't necessarily need to come from the kitchen industry. Your background could be interiors, bespoke joinery, residential fit out, specialist construction or another environment involving detailed, multi stage projects. What matters to us is how you think, how you work with people and the standards you set for yourself.

Senior Project Manager | High End Residential Interiors Swindon, Wiltshire | £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience | Performance related bonus up to 10% | Full time, studio based | Occasional site travel with business mileage reimbursed

If this sounds like you, we'd really like to hear from you. View the full role at https://bit.ly/3TLE4O5

Dark, dramatic and designed for open-plan living.

This bulthaup b3 kitchen became the centre of a London home, connecting cooking, dining and living in one flowing social space. Black-brown Oak, Flint laminate and Sahara Quartz create a bold, refined palette, while the island brings cooking, conversation and entertaining together.

A Siemens induction hob keeps the cook facing the room, with a Miele w**e cooler positioned for easy access from the dining and living areas. Clean handleless storage and bulthaup Prism drawer organisation keep everything beautifully ordered.
