Some of you already know, for those that don’t, my mother (pictured below) who was one of my greatest supporters and source of inspiration, passed away 4th June following a cancer diagnosis 2 and a half years ago.

In her memory, I will be creating the ‘Monica’ collection. All the garments created will be from patterns she had saved. All profits will be donated to St. Margaret's Hospice who were unwavering in their support and guidance. My thanks also go to the District Nurses, Baobob Care & Love2Care who were truly wonderful, to mum and us.

At Glastonbury Frost Fayre last year a customer admired my flower power jacket,said she might need one. She contacted me in thd new year and placed an order, with some requests & modifications.

She particularly wanted purple & teal incorporated, wood toggles, the jacket to be longer and a finish to the sleeves.

This is thd result. She was absolutely delighted with the result.

Morning all, I have been playing with my crochet flowers. Found some simple ribbed vases & artificial foliage, loving the result. As the flowers are crafted using 100% cotton, I add a couple drops of essential oils to the petals making them a prettier diffuser rather than just sticks.

Each is available to buy at £15.

Morning all, and a Happy New Year, welcome to 2026!

I have started this year with a project, yes, another one. Phase one, was to make friends with the sewing machine, 2 days later, phase one is complete. This is the result, a box bag, pretty chuffed with myself.

This leads to phase two, which will be revealed shortly!
