I didn’t plan to make a fox basket 🦊
There are already so many of them out there..
But I wanted something autumnal to match my unicorn and suddenly this little guy just… happened :)

I really don’t enjoy working with thin yarn
it feels like nothing is growing in my hands
the stitches are small and slow and it takes forever to see any progress 🫣😆

Usually I choose thick cord because it’s so satisfying but sometimes it’s good to leave our comfort zone to try something new even if it feels difficult at first..

Who knows maybe i’ll end up loving this one too ❤️

I am a bit behind with posting so here’s one of my projects.
This is a handmade decorative tray and it’s my own design.
You can use it for flowers, candles or just as pretty home decor.

Have a look on this soft basket that looks cute and holds more than you’d think :)
Shown here in pink and blue. Perfect for a child’s room but feel free to choose any colors that match your space

Just to give you an idea that I recently managed to fit there:
🧩 6 Rubik’s cubes
🧷 half a pack of nappies
🎨 a few creams and and a teether
They’re surprisingly roomy
I believe they are best for shelves, dressers or changing tables
Beautiful to look at and practical too :)))

Toys, books and tiny treasures… they all need a home otherwise it’s constant questions like:

Mum, where’s my car? Where’s my book?

I was always searching for a simple and beautiful way to keep the boys things in order without sacrificing the cosy vibe of their room :)

That’s how these hanging baskets came to life.
They are soft, sturdy and just the right size for toys or favourite books that somehow end up everywhere.

Because let’s be honest — they always do, right? 😄

You know what? One day I just felt like making something different

I didn’t want another simple tray or basket with a plain edge.
I wanted something with a soft, wavy and scalloped edge. Something that would stand out but still be cozy and simple ✨

So I sat down, played around with my yarn… and this Scalloped Tray was born :)

It’s become one of my favourite little pieces because you can use it for literally anything like candles, small decor, keys, even snacks as my youngest proposed 😅

And guess what? I even turned it into a pattern so if you feel like making your own, you can!

Funny story… Yesterday, I was cleaning up my cords and found one of the very first ones I ever bought. I almost threw it away, but then I asked you on Stories where you’d use it… and most of you said nursery!
So here it is – a soft, pastel crochet basket perfect for storing all the little things in a baby’s room.

It has a soft texture and is kid-friendly – no stiff edges, just cozy, flexible storage. And the best part? It blends beautifully with boho or Scandinavian pastel interiors :)

You know, when people think of crochet they usually picture baskets or maybe blankets.
But… the truth is that cotton cords can be turned into so many beautiful and practical things like these kitchen accessories!

I made these chunky pot holders and trivets and honestly I do love how they bring a warm, natural touch to the kitchen while still being super useful.
Because who said handmade has to be just decorative?
