Handsewn and embellished and sometimes hand drawn dolls, puppets and much more by online and in the shop.🧵

Heavily informed by Irish folklore, these playful objects tell the folk tales that inspired them.
Instead of stuffing, josette uses natural waste materials, beachcombes for oyster bed treasures ghost nets and glass to adorn her creations. All fabrics are reused.

📯ANNOUNCEMENT
It is with mixed emotions that I let all you wonderful people know that weven will be closing it's doors on 24th December.

It's been a wonderful year at 21 George Street, but running the shop has become a labour - full stop - rather than a labour of love.

Over this week I'll be adding lots of our new makers pieces to the website for Christmas.

🍐This evening I had the pleasure of sorting through beautiful images from our winter shoot of 's insanely intricate and joyous hand painted pearl jewellery and accessories and getting them up as listings. Take a peep!

We have so much more to get up for you to see, including all the other pieces of jewellery in this image which I'll introduce through the week 🌛

Our favourite botanical artist, Emma of Thistle By Nature, will be hitting weven with her own style of sculptural floristry. You will utilise fresh and dried sustainably grown and foraged items to make your own gorgeous wreath to take home & learn lots of tips to continue this therapeutic craft to boot.
