Hello everyone!!!!
It feels quite weird to know what to say when I know I’ve been so quiet, with no explanation for so long! I’ve been taking time away from social media, and processing how I wanted to move forward in my career when it was becoming so obvious to me that The Fabric House wasn’t right for me anymore.
I haven’t actually looked through this Instagram in months and looking back, I feel an enormous sense of pride for what I built over 3 years and I had forgotten how good I was at it?! (Are you allowed to say that? Well I’m doing it anyway! 😂)
But the truth is, I wasn’t happy. I didn’t feel fulfilled and I had so many sleepless nights with worry and stress. I do understand that self employment will do that to you, but you do have to stop and question if it’s worth it and I came to the decision that it wasn’t.
In this time my partner introduced me to gardening, he has his own business and had me work for him while I figured out what I was going to do. During this time, I found I was actually pretty in love with gardening and began picking up jobs on my own. Before I knew it, I had a fully booked gardening business under the name of P. Gardens and it continues to thrive. I am utterly in love with it and it feels more aligned to where I am in my life now. Especially because it allows a creative outlet and I can continue to work for myself. I’ve been laying low this year and figuring out this new business and now I’m ready to scream about how fantastic it is, and i also think that means I need to say goodbye to this one.
I am so grateful to every person that championed me for so long, every purchase, every share, every kind word were the reason I was able to do it for such a long time. I will always be thankful that I had such an amazing lesson in all of this!
I have really enjoyed less time on social media, and I do intend to continue with this, however I take really nice pictures of bees and what I am doing in the gardens and I am quite desperate to share them, so if you wanted to continue following me journey, then you can find me on ._gardens
