Well, with only one lonely echinacea plant left (.. that’s not quite true..) it looks like that’s a wrap! 🌸

Thank you so much to everyone who shared our posts, hosted posters and helped to spread the word. Thank you to everyone who came and bought plants! Please feel free to comment with photos of them in your lovely gardens!

Many thanks also to our friends at Fretherne Church who were so robustly adaptable. It begs the question, is there anywhere a Church refreshments team can’t set up camp?!

And finally, we have to thank our very dedicated staff team at Genus Plant Sourcing who stepped into the unknown opening up to the public for the first time, and willingly worked over the weekend to make it all happen. We’ve had a great weekend and we hope everyone who visited did too.

We wonder if we should make it an annual thing? 😏

Well, what a wonderful day we have all had! And we hope you did too! It was lovely to see so many people, to chat plants and discuss garden plans, and see the wheelbarrows of ‘mini gardens’ travelling around the site!

What to expect 🌱

🗺️ Please follow GL2 7JF for sat nav.
🚗 There is free parking, but please be aware we are on a shared site, with residential accommodation so please park sensibly and respect our neighbours.
💴 We accept cash or card.
⛪️ Please support our local church, Fretherne Church and take advantage of the refreshments on offer!
⚠️ Please keep to designated routes whilst on site, this is for your safety.
🛑 Not every plant is for sale! Some areas of the glasshouse will be cordoned off. Please do not remove any plants from these areas!

✏️ All the plants for sale are individually priced.

💛 Yellow label, we will have a limited selection of plants at £3.50
🧡 Orange label, £4.50
♥️ Red label, £5.50
🌹 Roses, £15
🪜 Climbers, £10
🌳 Shrubs, individually priced

All prices include VAT

I bet you were just thinking, what better way to peruse our plant sale than with a cuppa and a bacon roll in hand?…

Well don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! The fabulous team at Fretherne Church will be at our plant sale to provide refreshments! Bacon rolls, teas and coffees, cakes… and plants! What more could you need to celebrate the first day of Autumn?

Just short of 10 days until we will be opening our doors to you for our very first public plant sale!

Poster distribution/advertising is now in full swing to try and reach as many people as possible - don’t worry, there are plenty of plants to go round!

If you have a prominent spot you where we could place of our posters we would love to hear from you! Please drop us a pm and we will swing by with it!

Things are hotting up (pun obviously intended ☀️) and we’re ready to treat you to a first peek at some of the plants that will be for sale on 23rd and 24th September at the Genus Grand Autumn Plant Sale!

Some of the plants for sale are earlier Summer flowering, so no longer have their lovely blooms. But once planted in the ground they will give you a lovely display next year. And some plants are absolutely at their best right now in late Summer, and will (hopefully!) still be flowering for you in a few weeks time.
