Yay! Another sweater done! Followed a pattern from . Made a couple of tiny tweaks.
Learnt a lot in the process. The pattern was more for an intermediate level.
I used a blend of wool and mohair, will see how it will behave over time.
I am very happy with it!
But now I want something summerish!😃

I’ve finished this pullover, what a saga😅.
I’ve learnt a lot about yarns, their thickness and quality and how it impacts on the final result.
I started knitting following the purchased pattern but ended up with a completely different design and measurements due to my yarn being absolutely different from that in the description 🙈.
Anyway, despite several mistakes I am happy with it. It’s warm and cosy and I love the colour 😍.
On to the next project😃.

For an experienced knitter this simple raglan will look quite straightforward but for an inexperienced knitter like me every single step is an ordeal😅.
I am quite good and fast at just straight knitting but all shape alternations have always been alien to me🙈. I’ve started with a purchased knitting pattern but my yarn is different, so I had to adjust it, ending up with changing the whole design 😂. See the next photo of the target pullover (which I will still make with a different, more appropriate yarn).
I doubted my actions every single step, knitting and reknitting again and again)).
Yes, that’s how everything new starts)). With lots of mistakes, startovers and practice but strong determination and curiosity beats it all!
I am learning a lot about yarns, understanding which is better for which pattern, etc., watching tonnes of tutorials and doing a lot of arithmetics😂!
My ambition is to create unique pieces for myself and my family which would be elegant, durable and look fab!😃🤞.
I am not interested in buying the readymade knitwear anymore, I want to wear my own stuff! 😝.

I’ve finally finished this jamper! What a journey 😅. It was my first hamper I’ve knitted in the past 30 years or so and this time I really wanted to learn how to do everything properly.
Everything that could have gone wrong, did go wrong!
I remade it several times, made a lot of mistakes but I also learnt a lot!
This jumper was my training project, the yarn wasn’t my choice, the pattern could have been different and lots of other things I’ve learnt and taken on board through the process.
But that’s what a learning process is all about.
I am very happy with this new jumper, it’s chunky, super warm and perfect to wear at home in the English winter😄.
While I was making it I watched tonnes of tutorials. It’s so different now compared to the times when I learnt knitting from books and magazine in my youth.
There are so many amazing people who share their skill on Instagram and YouTube, it’s absolutely fantastic!
So, it’s my officially new passion but I am not forgetting my pottery either!
Very soon I will start making new things, I am already excited about that, too.
There is just not enough time to do everything I want. And I want plenty!😂😂
Cheers, everyone and happy making to all the makers ❤️.

I’ve finally made myself some planters! It only took me about 3 years 😂. Now the plants sit really nicely in these elegant pots .
I could go with something more funky but as usual, I stuck to simple elegance🤷🏻‍♀️😄.
