Whether it’s the high-octane halftime rush at a stadium concourse or the smooth, intimate vibe of The Vinyl Room at Royal Arena - it all comes down to flawless bar operations. 🍸

Behind the scenes at Royal Arena, we designed, manufactured, and installed a bespoke underbar system. With custom stations tailored to the bartenders' and operators exact operational needs, the team can move quickly and efficiently during peak service.

There’s something pretty special about seeing a bar design come to life, but it’s even better when you get to see it in action. ✨

One of the most rewarding parts of designing a bar is seeing a project go from an initial sketch, through countless iterations, to the finished space. Whether that takes weeks, months or even years, there’s nothing quite like seeing the client’s vision become a reality.

We recently attended the Bar Cicoria shoot with the talented Michael Franke, and it was a great reminder that there’s so much more to a bar than how it looks.
Once service starts, you get to step back and really watch the space work.
These are the moments when a design is truly put to the test.

The photography captures the details and finishes, but being there in service lets us see whether the bar is doing what we designed it to do, creating a space that feels great, works efficiently and supports the team behind it.

And honestly, that’s the best part!

We designed the underbar that now sits across multiple Dishoom Venues🍸

It was never meant to be a one-off bar design project, it is a system, built to handle real volume night after night, without anything giving way. We developed the design alongside Dishoom’s ops team with their bartenders in mind, allowing their own creations to be made flawlessly over and over again.

Once that design was right the real challenge started. No two Dishoom venues are the same - different buildings, footprints and site limitations meant every new opening had a different problem to solve. Our brief is to keep everything about the bar that makes it work while reshaping it to fit a room it was never drawn for.

Honestly, that’s the part we enjoy most: understanding exactly what can flex and what can’t. That way, the straight run of underbar in Covent Garden performs just as well as the uniquely faceted underbar in Battersea, even though the spaces around them are never quite the same.

We’re looking for a creative, hands-on designer to join us in a hybrid role combining product design, CAD, technical drawing, and bespoke bar installation.

From developing initial concepts to seeing designs brought to life on-site, you’ll be involved in every stage of the process - building valuable creative, technical, and practical skills along the way.
