Here is the dial from the 8 day grandfather clock movement done recently. Brass dial cleaned. Rings resilvered and numerals rewaxed.

Been extremely busy here at antique clock repairs & restoration so first post for quite a while but will hopefully be catching up on posts of the repairs we have done last few months. This one an 8 day longcase movement. Badly scored pivots and a lot of bushes replaced as well as bad wear to pallet faces. Full strip clean and service done including brass and silver dial which I will post separately. Now working beautifully again for our client.

Very small twin weight driven modern Vienna movement fully serviced here at antique clock repairs and restoration uk in our gloucestershire workshop. Tried to talk the client out of it as very bad quality. However they wanted it done and it was treated and serviced the same way as every other movement that gets serviced here. Up on test and surprisingly keeping perfect time.

French timepiece mantle clock movement fully serviced here at antique clock repairs and restoration uk at our gloucestershire workshop. Brand new mainspring fitted. Also dial tidied up for client as requested. Now on test and undergoing fine regulation

Early 30 hour single hand bird cage movement recently serviced here at antique clock repairs and restoration UK in our Gloucestershire workshop. Been fully tested without dial and now on final test with dial and hand attached and regulated to 3600 BPH.

Absolutely delighted with this new addition to the workshop. A high precision pillar drill with variable speed controller. T slotted base and led spotlight onto work. 0 - 4mm Chuck Now to set it up properly into place

This is the 8 day longcase clock movement recently serviced here at antique clock repairs and restoration in on the testing stand with dial on and going through final test. The client wanted to leave the painted dial exactly as it was which is a shame but we always carry out the wishes of our clients.

8 day longcase clock movement serviced here at antique clock repairs & restoration uk in our Gloucestershire workshops. 6 new bushes including main barrel bushes. All pivots polished and new natural gut line fitted. Now working along perfectly and fully tested
