Stunning installation of a Jotul f400 BUT let us not detract from the stunning puppy/model.
We were looking for a perfect traditional wood burning stove to finish off our inglenook fireplace and had tried a few stores, but didn’t find what we wanted.
We made a last stop to the Heat Store in Studley and as we walked in spotted an amazing stove and met a very knowledgeable and friendly store owner, Debbie.
Debbie explained the stove we were looking at was in fact a top of the range stove and after hearing us out for what our requirements were, advised us this stove (Jotul F400 Eco) would indeed be perfect for our needs.
Debbie then put us in touch with the store stove fitter Dave. Dave is a very experienced and helpful chap who came to visit our property to ensure we would meet regulations for HETAS and told us what would need to be done to get the stove of our dreams. A hearth extension was initially required & included in the installation quotation but when the stove came to be fitted, Dave and his team were more than happy that this stove fitted HETAS requirements without the extension, which was very pleasing to hear and we found was very honest of the team as some installers I’m sure would have just done it as it’s already in the price.
Instead, we were refunded for the hearth costs the same day and left with a beautifully installed HETAS approved stove that Debbie, Dave, Brandon and Mark made happen for us and the team even vacuumed and got the fire roaring for us before their departure!
Extremely satisfied with this purchase and honestly can’t thank Debbie and the team enough for making this a very pleasant experience and we would highly recommend to anyone in the future…. Plus Brandon will now be our yearly chimney sweep as the store offers this service yearly too! Thanks all, The Biddle’s.
